Phở 90 — Restaurant in Aurora

DO NOT EAT HERE!

This restaurant has so many issues and doesn't make any effort to fix them. The place is run down, cleanliness is questionable, and worst of all, the service is absolutely TERRIBLE!

There were 2 other couples in the restaurant when we arrived, that's it. We waited a while for someone to finally take our order and when they came, we ordered drinks, appetizers, and our pho all at once. The food arrived before my partner's soda. I kept waiting for my drink. Finally, at the very end of the meal, I got my drink. I requested that it be taken off of the bill because we had waited an entire hour for it. The server became very hostile and claimed they were short staffed and we were being unfair, yet he had been at the table behind us chatting with his friends for 10 minutes. No exaggeration. We sat and waited and waited while he completely neglected to do his job. The restaurant had maybe 6 total customers in it, and he made nonsense excuses for his neglect.

He told me to be grateful my drink came out in a to-go cup so I could take it with me. Yeah, no kidding, we're done eating! He then refused to bring us boxes for our food. I have never had that happen! All because I asked to have the drink taken off the bill. The manager finally brought us one small container for both of our leftovers and we had to request 2 more times to please have boxes for our food.

The server yelled at us for several minutes over this. It was very one sided. We literally just wanted to take our food and leave, but he was preventing us! He was a younger guy, maybe in his 20s-30s, with serious anger issues. As we were waiting to pay, we sat awkwardly at our table while he just yelled and complained about us to his manager across the restaurant. It was a crazy experience. Please don't waste...

We eat at this place on August 8. 2022, Arrived at the restaurant at 700 pm left at 8:15 pm! Frist time here, very disappointed there were 2 servers there, one was very friendly the other was a lady poor and bad customer service! The Frist server was the one who took us to the table, we were the first one to be sit it, it was a couple behind us was sit it second, then it was 4 mores people was sit it next. The lady came out giving the 4 peoples their water she should've give our water first? Then proceed giving water to the other the other tables? Still didn't come to our table to give water? About 10 minutes pass that when I ask the first servers why she didn't give us our water first, and that when he said I will bring you your water. But proceed wrapping down tables and bringing out others peoples water BAD customer our expectations were NOT met? We had order the 2 Large Pho Soup with Rare Beef, Brisket with Rice Noodle Soup. This lady need to be in training again lack of proper training, especially in customer service, poor in professionalism, poor and bad service NOT bringing NO water to our table and I end up telling her why she didn't bring no water to our table? So when the foods came out instill we should've received our food first. Oh my goodness this lady is a joke; she proceed to assist the foods to the third & second table and should've service us first? After she serve the 2 tables we kept waiting for our foods with NO explanation, poor communication. Didn't like my foods it wasn't good at all! So I didn't enjoy my welcome to this restaurant, so when I went to pay for our foods Not only this lady had a bad attitude toward the end. You do NOT push a customer her credit card and receipt and walk away with a bad attitude!!! I am a paying customer that how YOU...

TLDR: Food was terrible, smelled terrible, manager lacks any type of professionalism, was racist, and you will feel robbed eating here save yourself.

If there was any possible way of giving negative stars they would have definitely of received - 5. My family spent 58.00 ordering food using grubhub and it was almost two hours late it. (Restaurants fault) When we called the restaurant to see where our food was we spoke to an EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional "manager" named "Amanda". She told us to take her driver's own 10$ and it would be returned to him. That was the best she could do...

I did not feel right taking the drivers money so I let him keep it because I knew they probably wouldn't of given it back to him. I immediately called grubhub because by the time the food arrived the restaurant was closed to phone calls, that or they just refused to pick up. They had lied to grubhub and said they gave us half refund which was a lie because my CC was charged the FULL amount.

I then called the restaurant and this is when the games began. I asked to speak to the manager and when she answered said "what do you need" I responded with "first I need your name" and she said "you called" and hung up. When I called back they would refuse to give her the phone and when she finally got on the phone she just started losing it on me, she was threatening to call the cops and said that we were scammers and we ate the food and the money is rightfully theirs. She was screaming at the top of her lungs and honestly I couldn't help but not be mad anymore do to just how insane she was speaking on the phone, it was kinda surreal lol.

I would NEVER order from that "restaurant" again even if someone paid me. I hope this...
