The only reason why I rated this park with 4 stars is that this place especially the play area is always crowded. I hardly find the playground less crowded no matter what time of the day I arrive here.
Apart from that, the park still has plenty to offer like a sandpit, wobbly bridge & multiple spring riders, massive grass ground, a basketball court.
We usually spend about an hour or so here. My daughter loves coming here!
The play area is a decent size offering two sets of swings for toddlers/infants & big children. Resting benches for the grown-ups to look after the children.
A big lake to spend some calm time sitting next to, I love walking to the mini-port for its incredible view. Trails for a walk/jog/stroll around that extends to the entire park.
Oftentimes, I notice people kayaking in the lake too.
The covered picnic spot is a decent size, you can enjoy some family/friend time here. It's great to host parties/potlucks as well.

Read moreWent fly fishing. Had to bushwack a bit to get to a sketchy edge off the lake with some rocks to stand on. But man the fishing was worth it! Big old gills & sun fish for days. Looking forward to going back and seeing what the bass situation is like.
It's a very active community park, people playing soccer games, having picnics, etc. Nice place. People seemed nice. Lots of walkers on the path. Not to crowded. Big pier to fish on. If you don't want to bushwack and get in the weeds then be prepared to be the guy who breaks angler code and fishes way to close to someone else...
