Spring Lake Park Playground — Attraction in Aurora

So from first glance, by parking the park looks really cute, clean, and fun for the kids.. As I started walking closer I seen one of the swings stuck and broke. Then seen their sand box which I dont know any parents that like those. Yes the sand area was huge but oh my god was it filthy! From leaves, twigs, garbage, cigarette butts, and a spoon I didn't even want my child to go near it. Now let's talk about the actual playground area.. That itself was filthy as well, with garbage all around on the ground and everything just looked so warned down. Plus everything seems so compact and small that if there was a lot of kids I dont know how they would all fit up there. Two thumbs down. Now let's talk about all the water views which were great and why this park is getting a 2 star rating and not a 1 star... There were so many geese, ducks, and other birds to see my son was in heaven and only wanted to be over there. We walked down by the "pier" area and holy bird poop everywhere. Oh my gosh, come on....we couldn't even sit down there was so much poop everywhere. Overall, this park definitely needs to be deep cleaned asap and so does the "pier" area as well. We most definitely WONT be back...

Spring Lake Park Playground is one of the greatest attention for those who are always going there to get relax themselves. It is in Aurora, IL. People are coming here to play baseball. They are conducting matches for them. Children like to go there to play soccer. The play looks greenery and one can have the mind to play with full enthusiasm. Parents are enjoying their children’s activity and they are also feeling healthy. When children are playing, parents can do their walking around the lake. It is very spacious .Kids can enjoy circular slide , monkey bars and swings. They can have their snacks in the nearby area. It is very clean and well maintained area. You can have ample parking space. So it is a great and healthy place to go with the family...

Park has bathrooms but they are always locked. Park is open but bathrooms are not. As long as the Park is open the bathrooms should be open as well. When you go to a park like this there needs to be bathrooms available... What are you supposed to do when you bring your kids to the park and they have to go to the bathroom?? This park is a waste...
