I was scheduled for my haircut and beard trim today, appointment was schedules two days prior, with "Dave The Barber", presumably the owner. The number for the shop called me earlier today when I was at work and couldn't answer, I suspected it was a confirmation call, possibly automated, but that I would get a voicemail, no voicemail was received. I work long days and get very busy and as such never called, back, presuming if it was important and not a confirmation call, then they would leave a message. I then get a call 1 hour before my appointment from the business again, and the person tells me they are going to need to reschedule my appointment, and asks for me to reschedule for next day which is not viable for me on account of being booked up for the day. He then tells me he can probably get to me later, and I ask him why he is needing to reschedule in the first place, expecting to hear he got behind on cuts, or something. No, he is at his other job, they he also presumably owns, and will not be able to make our appointment and that I am the only cut he had today. I express that I feel this is really unprofessional and that he inability to manage his time and meet his obligations is not fault, and that I will not be rescheduling, and that I will find an alternative option, as I am not interested in this as my first experience, which I am only doing because I couldn't get into my normal barber due to scheduling conflicts with work and their hours. I then end the call and he proceeds to text me. I find this grossly inappropriate, not just unprofessional, and he unloads his family drama, and multiple businesses as excuses. I call him back and proceed to express my distaste for his behavior and dumping things on me that are excuses, with no real apology, and that I would be sharing this experience. I have the screenshots of our text conversations, I have the screenshot of the booking confirmation with date, and I have highlighted the phone number matches the business. As some of the unsolicited excuses he shared was highly sensitive information about innocent parties that does not deserve to be aired here, I will censor those personal private details, I will also be censoring profanity for the decency of the public and young persons who...
