If I could give them a zero rating, I undoubtedly would. I recently placed an order for a stackable washer and dryer, as well as a microwave. On the day of delivery, two individuals arrived. While I watched, one of them removed my old washer and dryer. However, he pulled a wire so forcefully that it caused water to leak. They installed the new washer and dryer, but then informed me that I might need to hire a plumber to fix the issue. How is it my responsibility to fix the water leak when they were the ones who caused it? They created a problem that never existed before. Not to mention, they failed to use the new stainless steel washer hose, dryer duct, and steam dryer hose that the lady had instructed me to purchase when I placed the order. To my disbelief, they simply used the old ones and left the new ones sitting on my kitchen counter.
When I inquired about the whereabouts of my microwave after they had installed the washer and dryer, they stared at each other blankly. They had no knowledge that the microwave was supposed to be included in the same order. Five minutes after they left, I received an email confirming the completion of the delivery, absurdly listing the microwave as a delivered item. I immediately contacted Home Depot and informed them about the missing microwave (without mentioning the water leak, as I wanted to address one problem at a time). A lady placed me on hold to check with their warehouse, and upon returning, she assured me that someone would contact me within 24 to 48 hours to either cancel the order (if the product was unavailable) or schedule a new delivery date.
I patiently waited for the entire 48-hour period, but no one reached out to me. I called them again, and the same scenario repeated itself. The representative placed me on hold and, upon returning, provided the same response. They stated that someone would contact me within the next 24 to 48 hours to either cancel the order or arrange a new delivery date. This time, I waited for 72 hours, but once again, there was no communication from their end. Frustrated, I contacted them once more, this time to request a complete cancellation of the order. That was the final straw for me. I will never return to this place.
Their installation technician not only created a new problem that did not exist beforeâa water leak in my laundry roomâbut they also failed to provide any explanation regarding the missing microwave order. They never could get to the bottom of what happened to the microwave. I decided to overlook the water leak issue and completely avoid any further dealings with these people. It was a truly terrible experience, akin to a nightmare. You guys do not deserve a...
Read moreThese Home Depot's around my area are becoming just as bad as wal-marts they think they're too big to fail and when they go under they all want to cry like always. Well years ago the old store manager presented himself well at the time I purchased a pallet of stepping stone for my house he even helped me because no one else cared to (think liability). He was upset because that's why individual's are employed not to just stand or walk around pretending to do their job. Honestly, I was surprised how professional, he was towards a customer like me, he understood the value of consumers without us they don't exist. But this last time I found out that that old Store manager no longer worked there he probably got a promotion. I went in this time to purchase a water heater and a few other things as an HD card holder, we get certain offers so I took it with me my wife made the mistake of giving me the wrong one so I called her and explain then she had me ask the employee if we could just give the code off the current offer through the phone instead of having me go home just to get it. The cashier was pretty new but nice as she apologized. Here's where it gets f up it ends up that I had to go home to get the current offer I told the cashier, I was coming back for the merchandise you would think HD would have a better policy for issues like these, so when I came back, I found that the merchandise had been put back well with me having a bad foot and I had explained that before I left an ignorant fool of African background got rude with me even accused me of lying that I didn't purchase a pallet of stepping stones and to top it off the assistant manager wasn't any better he argued with me instead of assisting me the customer in till he asked do you want me to go grab that heater for you? I said yes because of my foot well he did and I did purchase it but disappointed on HD's customer service. I would like to end this with this I'm the type to tell a corporation to go to hell if its service is poorly represented me and my family have made it clear we won't tolerate it so as a HD card holder and paying customers we expect better service if the corporation refuses to do so we will terminate our business with them. Best believe that we no longer do business with certain unprofessional corporations so we're not shy to shut down our HD account immediately and take our business elsewhere. And if you think you can keep treating consumers the way you do, don't be surprised when you end up in the unemployment line. You need us, we don't desperately need you...
Read moreI am putting I for the man that helped me with getting new interior paint. Along with everything I needed with it. Also for the women in the back that helped me with getting stencils for walls with the grout. My receipt came up to $302 which is about for me. Spending there every year I try to get some type of printout of what I've spent for my taxes. I usually go and get it from the Home Depot on Mississippi and 225 only a few times have I gotten it at this store. I went to the other side Where the returns are to try and get a printout at customer service. When I got there there was many people standing around in a huddle talking it was not about work. My 29 year old son and I waited for about 6 minutes before I interrupt them even though they kept looking over at me before I asked hello can somebody help me. They looked at me and continue talking for a minute and then started coming over nobody wanted to give me eye contact and I wonder if it's because I was in the handicap chair because I had pinky toe surgery a few weeks ago but then after a Hispanic guy came into the line they rushed to help him and I was there many minutes before he was I was beyond pissed!! The assistant manager as I found out named Juan was on the name tag! I was so surprised to see that it was an assistant manager that was over there with them all!! He told me that there was nothing that they could print out and that they don't have full sheet paper. A lie. I asked him to reprint my receipt because the receipt I got when I purchased everything was faded. Guess what he printed it out on a regular sheet of paper on which he told me they did not have a printer with regular sheet paper!! I don't know if it is a racial thing but I definitely took it as that insulted my son andI! How could you not help someone who is clearly disabled and or black I wish I would have spoke to them in Spanish maybe that would have been a little bit better or let them know we are biracial!!! So upset with how we were treated have never experienced that there! Believe me I am a regular there and always working on ny house spending that much money there is what I usually do. I have owned my house for about 13 to 14 years and when this Home Depot store opened up closer to me I was very happy. We left there...
