Ive previously had horrible experiences here HOWEVER, the last few months they have new staff that are faster at processing mail and answering questions. They’ll offer to help you with whatever your mailing now too. This post office could still use a makeover, and maybe a more cheery attitude but they’ll get the job done for you properly and fast. I came in with 30 packages (all Going to seprate places in the us and I was in and out in under 20 minutes.

Monday morning and they have 1 person working the counter. Just dropping off a package with a prepaid label 25 minutes plus - that is absolutely crazy. I only had 3 people in front of me. Guy at the counter was slow as a snail. He would also start talking to people that weren’t in line with questions that delayed the whole process rather than having get them in line. Absolutely worst USPS office.

This USPS has to be one of the best locations I had to ship a phone out and the machine got stuck feeding my sticker and after I got it out. The manager came out at 7P from the facility floor and helped me get the package out. Claudia at this facility is truly a first class representative of the United States Postal Service I know that she completely embodies the leadership and customer service.

Absolutely disgraceful "customer service" that I witnessed today at the USPS store at 16890 Alameda Pkwy (12/13/18 at approximately 3:30pm). I have never seen such an intolerant customer service agent (they may even have been a supervisor) and been treated in such a rude way myself..... There was a customer in front of me (with a caregiver), who obviously had a mental disability (probably autism or tourettes syndrome) and they were speaking to themselves out loud. They said quite a few things over and over so you could tell that something was wrong. They were being a little loud and there was some swear words being used. The person was looking mostly at their phone, not making eye contact with anyone. Most of the people in line, whilst no doubt offended by the language being used, but were being tolerant of the situation, myself included. It was obvious what was going on. I had seen some funny looks from some of the staff members behind the counter when they heard the person for the first time talking to themselves, but most of them also realized what was happening and they too were tolerant. A few of the staff members were sniggering. I'm not sure why the caregiver didn't try and control the situation a little better, they mostly stayed quiet and the person continued to have their own conversation. I'm sure they have been dealing with this for a long time and I'm sure it would be very difficult. It was about a 15 minute wait and finally a person from USPS, without a uniform or name badge on came over to the person with the disability and immediately (without asking what the problem was), in a loud voice, started to tell the person that if they wouldn't be quiet, they would be asked to leave and the police would be called. The caregiver tried to speak and the lady told them to butt out and again warned the person with the disability to be quiet and that the police would be called. The lady was extremely aggressive and made no attempt to find out why the person was speaking so loud. The caregiver was finally allowed to speak and they were finally able to ask that a customer service agent could expedite them (the caregiver was trying to organize a mailbox for the other person) so that they wouldn't cause anymore offense. They were given another warning, all the time this was happening in front of other customers. They were finally taken ahead and someone else started to serve them, not before another outburst of language and then another warning about the police being called from the same service agent. The service agent then apologized to the customers and then I said quietly to the agent that the person didn't mean what they were saying and their language, although offensive, was not directed at anyone and they didn't mean it. Surely she could understand that? I said telling the people that you were going to call the police on them without finding out what the issue was, was unnecessary and over the top for. The same service agent then started raising her voice to me and said if I wanted to argue with her that I should leave and the police would be called on me. I said nothing else and turned my back as the agent continued her rant. I left the post office soon after as it made me feel extremely uncomfortable and I felt demeaned. I have never witnessed such an intolerant and unprofessional person in my life. If the procedure for making a formal complaint against this person was more obvious, I would gladly make one. This was an extremely sad day. I have never witnessed such intolerance up close and to then have it directed towards myself when I tried to speak up and say it wasn't right, was unnecessary. I am also a customer and a human being. Shame on you. You are an intolerant and heartless person. The customer service example to set to your other employees was about as bad as it gets. Your reaction was totally over the top and unnecessary....

Whatever happened to "We are mothers and fathers. And sons and daughters. Who every day go about our lives with duty, honor and pride. And neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night, nor the winds of change, nor a nation challenged, will stay us from the swift completion of our appointed rounds. Ever" HA! The pride of mail carrier service has obviously washed out over the decades of its existence, and become more of a bane than a boon.

Horrible customer service. Packages "missing" for weeks then suddenly show up bashed in, banged up, ripped box corners and damaged contents. One box of very hard-to-find aquarium light bulbs ordered online finally arrived in this condition after I called and called and finally went down to this post office in person TWICE about it. There was ONE bulb intact. ONE. A manager at the post office disclosed that my carrier at that time was being investigated for package theft and other problems (probably one of those that just dumps her mail deliveries in a trashcan somewhere, too), and asked me to file a formal complaint with the Postmaster General, which I did. That manager was rude, distracted and didn't seem to really give a one whit about the issue.

If you go there to do anything that requires seeing a clerk, prepare to wait in line a long time. Avoid their busiest times if you can (though I've never been there when they weren't busy). They never have enough clerks on the line to timely manage the amount of people that are there. I'm disabled and can't stand very long, so this is particularly difficult for me.

Yesterday at work, my office never received our mail. Sure, Monday was a Federal holiday, but since when does that make it okay to not deliver mail the next day? Of all the people in my office, I get the greatest volume and if it doesn't come when it's supposed to, my entire work week gets thrown off. I called at 5:40pm and someone in the back who sounded completely incompetent eventually picked up the phone, I told him our business hadn't received mail yet. He asked for my address, put my on hold forever, then came back and asked me what my address was again. Then I was put on hold again. He finally came back and said that the post office had received a lot of mail and that many carriers hadn't even left until noon to start their deliveries. So I waited at the office another hour - 6:40pm! - and still our mail hadn't been delivered. If I don't get the mail, I can't do my job. If I can't do my job, a lot of people get pissed off at me, regardless that this is out of my control.

When I arrived to work the next morning and was told the mail never came last night I called the post office three times and each time it just rang and rang until I got...

10 Feb 2017. At 12:35 today I left the post office on Alameda Street and Buckley in Aurora Colorado. This is the second time (the first was in Oct 2016) my wife or I have gone to the post office to inquire why select pieces of our mail are not being delivered; specifically, medical invoices sent four times and music invoices sent twice in the last three week, and perhaps others we are not aware of. This was the most aggravating encounter I have had in years. I was speaking with Claudia.

  1. she had me fill out a photocopied form with no tracking number and of which I did not get a copy. She stated that she would “talk” with the carrier.
  2. I asked if the problem could be with the sorting since the carrier only delivers what he is given? She responded in a belligerent voice, “we are no allowed to discuss numbers, forms, or our processes with you. I’m not sure what the answer had to do with the question. I just want my mail.
  3. I asked about my legal recourse since USPS was paid to provide a service and failed to do so? She said: “you can call the 1-800 number”. I explained that I had called that number this morning and the wait was 1 hour and twelve minutes. She said: “patience is a virtue”. The USPS’ failure to deliver invoices led to collection actions and possible impact to my credit. I am documenting this interaction here for future procedures (complaints or court) if they prove necessary.

10 Feb 2017 at 08:40. I called 40 minutes after opening on a Friday morning. The wait time is "1 hour and 12 minutes to 1 Hour a 15 minutes". I am calling because several businesses and billers have sent mail that has never been received - four times...
