I bought a pool from them about a year ago and the quality seems great so far. The staff is very very friendly and helpful every time I work with them. I did run into a major issue during the installation process. They sent out contractors to install and they told me there could be an additional minor fee if there a lot of roots in the way of the installation. I had to ask him several times how much a minor fee was before he would think about telling me. His response was "7, 8, 900 dollars". By no means is that a minor fee in my eyes. I told him that was not minor and there was no way I was paying that much. He quickly flipped the script and said it would probably only be $100-200. It was clear that he was feeling me out for how much he could get out of me by gauging my reaction. I immediately called A-TEX and they agreed the price should not be that high but $100-200 is normal if extra time/effort is needed. I ended up paying them a requested $150 despite not witnessing any issues with installation. I truly believe they try to weasel money out of you regardless of the difficulty of the job. I was refunded half of that with store credit after complaining to the owner. They said the contractor was joking but that is complete BS. Contractor or not, it was a direct reflection of their business despite me believing the owner does not condone that type of action. They test our water each week providing us with a detailed print-out of our chemical balances and recommend exactly what's needed to maintain and clean, healthy pool. On-site is full inventory of chemicals, pool parts and recreational accessories making it a one-stop-shop!
