I love APL they’re fabulous and so are the workers but the measures that they have in place to clean are asinine. To have everyone leave the library for 15 minutes every hour and then have to come back inside. I cherish this place as somewhere to work and have space to do so, but this measure takes away the ability to work within the space. Why even open such a giant library to keep people from using it? I understand the state that we are still in with covid but I have received my vaccinations. I just don’t think the cleaning requires for visitors to leave every hour and then come back in especially when the HVAC Systems have been altered to filter the air. I parked in the garage across the street because the sign in front of the AHC says they validate parking there. But when I got to the front door there was a sign inside the door saying they were closed, on a day when they should be open (Wednesday, 2:06 PM, not a holiday, I have the parking receipt). The sign did not give a reason why they were closed, it just said they were closed that day. I immediately went back to the garage and I had to pay $4 to leave the garage. I asked, but the AHC will not reimburse the $4 even though their sign recommends people to park there because they validate. I'm out $4 and whoever runs the AHC is some kind of...
