I became a customer of Home Smart and it’s been a horrible experience from the start. The manager Sam is as incompetent as you can be. He is nice up until you sign the contract then, nothing else matters. They are late on delivery because they overload their delivery guys; they deliver broken items and wrong items. The entire staff is rude, never once trying to do what they can to have a satisfied customer, well only when you are looking around to buy, they are super helpful then. They lie about their business standards and do not do what they say they are going to. The only nice people there that deserve a lot more credit than they get are the delivery guys, they were pretty good. Sam promises one thing and no one including him honors what he promised. It’s a fight to get anything done at all. How they are still in business I will never understand. The BBB really needs to check their business practices, all anyone would have to do is go in like a regular customer and enter into a contract with them, and then you will totally understand what I’m saying. I asked for their corporate number the other day and they refused to provide me with one, told me too bad and to find it myself. This place has hired every rude, snobbish female and every failed lazy car salesman there is in Austin it seems. Read moreThese people SUCK!!!!! They rented me a broken computer after promising me a brand new one, it was giving me issues within 24 hours! Their solution, bring it in & we will reset to the factory settings (which they told me was already done). I was looking to purchase the laptop from them out right, but CANT! The stupid thing is so crappy its not even worth the $400 Ive already put into it, and they are saying Ive only paid $300 because of a monthly service fee! WTF! These guys are ghetto! They have no voice mail or answering system on their phone, WILL NOT CALL YOU WHEN YOUR OFF BUT only during my work hours because that's "when they're open". Really people! Really! Ive asked for an email address to get all these promises in writing, and they beat around the bush & keep you asking, then will say you have to call back because they cant find it. LASTLY, Im pretty sure they have some sort of coping soft ware on here, every once in a will a random screen will pop up saying copying & sending files. You card info seems to be visible to any one that works there. Let’s say you’re down bad and can’t make a payment or your money is needed for an emergency. You better remove your money cause they WILL run your card. Larry the supervisor or quarter acts like he’s all cool but he knows they all are sneaky and fraudulent. If they can do that with your card, who knows if they use the cards of those people that are on auto pay and don’t have financial burden’s. Seriously, I’m sure they’ve been doing this for years.
