Elements Laser Spa — Attraction in Austin

Worst experience of my life :(

I’ve been going to Elements Laser Spa for almost 2 years, completing 14–20 sessions. I used to travel 45 minutes each way for every appointment because I trusted their services. In total, I’ve spent around $2,000 USD on treatments here.

That trust has been completely broken. I’ve experienced multiple laser burns during treatments. A previous burn took months to fade and is still visible. Most recently, I was severely burned in multiple areas, and this time the damage is far worse.

I’ve been badly scarred, with around 50 black spots, each about half an inch to one inch in size. The marks are very visible and may be permanent. This is not just a cosmetic issue—it has affected me physically and emotionally in ways I can’t express. I’ll never be able to confidently wear sleeveless clothes again.

The technicians are always in a rush, juggling too many clients. They don’t take the time to properly check or adjust the laser settings, which is exactly how these burns happened. When I brought it up, they applied exosomes and blamed it on a possible reaction to the cryogen in their equipment — an excuse that made no sense and clearly avoided taking responsibility.

I also sent a detailed email to the owner (Paul) of the spa explaining the severity of the damage, but no one responded. That silence says everything about how they treat loyal clients once something goes wrong.

After investing so much time, money, and trust, I feel deeply let down and scarred—literally and emotionally. Please be cautious. No one should have to go through this.

I had a disappointing experience at this spa and won’t be returning. When I arrived two minutes late for my appointment, the technician was checking out a prior customer. I was told there’s a strict 15-minute window, which I wasn’t aware of. Additionally, the technician didn’t know which area I was scheduled for, which made me feel uneasy. The technician seemed rushed and distracted, running between rooms, and it felt like the procedure was done in a hurry with little care or attention.

The facility itself also felt dated—machines appeared worn out, and their POS systems are not up-to-date. I didn’t feel comfortable or prioritized at any point. To top it off, they didn’t honor the pricing I was quoted at my last visit, even though it was with the same technician. I was told that I was "underquoted" my prior 4 sessions, being charged for the wrong "size" of laser, and that because the boss was in the room behind that they weren't going to honor the prior pricing. Technicians should have been charging me for the appropriate sizing and area since the beginning. It felt disingenuous.

Overall, the experience felt disorganized, impersonal, and not up to standard for a service that requires high degrees of professionalism and trust. It is unfortunate because I felt neutral about my prior experiences, but this most recent...

The technician did her job but man they are rude!!! Treat clients like they are offering free service. I forgot the lady technician on the 38 1/2 street south Austin location but she has been threatening me and telling our boss is very unhappy and we will put you on some sort of list and no longer do your treatment because I was late for the appointment. She has been charging me full price although I was supposed to be on package deal. She told me I’m lucky that they do treatment for me. I went a head canceled my appointment and told Alicia from Element laser north location, I’m no longer interested to be their client because their technicians are rude and try to scare and threat (me) clients. I almost felt she is going to hurt me just because I was late although I called and left messages. I swear! Please I highly suggest not to choose Element laser spa for your treatment because they are awful!!! I have never met their boss in person but all technicians use his name to threat clients and said, he is not making more business and want us to be strict with clients.
