The Austinite Market - Harmon Ave — Local services in Austin

I've been here a handful of times on busy mornings. Unfortunately, the last two times I came, at least one of my tacos was less than half-filled. The last taco I got in the morning was colder and the vegetables were off- it made me feel ill and didn't seem fresh, so I won't be going back. At $4+ per taco from a convenience mart, that's pretty annoying. I also can't tell if they charge for the salsa or not. The one time I got salsa, my bill was $2 more than it was the previous week when I purchased the same items without salsa. On the other hand, I've purchased Taco Deli directly from the store multiple times and have always had a great experience. It seems like Taco Deli isn't filling these deliveries with the same level of quality, and no one at the store is noticing...

Awful store. Did a doordash pickup order for a six pack of light beer and when I showed up they said they were out of it and wanted to give me a non light beer instead. I looked through the fridge and brought up a comparably priced light beer to substitute and the clerk argued that it was a dollar more and wanted to collect a dollar. Absolutely ridiculous when they are supposed to have their inventory correct so when I place an order I can pick up the item I ordered. Amazing to me that this place cares so much about $1 but doesn't care about the hundreds of dollars I would spend as I am a local in the area. I will seek out a different liquor store for all of my future orders. Goodbye...

We love the Austinite Market!! The employees are so kind, it is always immaculately clean, and they have everything you need in one place (snacks, medication, beer/wine, household items, etc.). Plus, there's a vegan restaurant inside! We love going by the market for a quick shop and to grab a vegan ice cream cone. The owners are also wonderful, and they have a "customer request" sheet at the counter if you want them to order something you wish they had in store. This market has been a game changer for us!
