This is an indoor flea market in Texas - if that didn't catch your eye at first think about these facts A) it's usually really hot to walk around outside to do anything let alone shopping, and B) Texas has heat waves and it's usually really hot to do anything. OK! That being said this flea market is one of the best to walk around and browse for cheap items and gifts. I have seen TOMS shoes here in one vendor area for $30 brand new! There is a tattoo shop here too that is always busy as well as tasty small vendors that sell fruit, mexican snacks, nachos, & tortas too. I come here to get my eyebrows threaded for less than $8! I tried two barbacoa goat tacos and an horchata (rice/cinnamon drink) for about $7 before tip. This is as authentic Mexican barbacoa as I’ve had in all of austin - and I’ve had it in Mexico itself. They nailed it with the quality of the meat and the spices used in the barbacoa.
