Mike Myers Stadium — Attraction in Austin

Entrance fee was very expensive. Parking area expensive and when you left your parking spot in the garage you could not return the same day. Went to the parking way away from the track had to pay another $15 and walk quite a ways no special consideration for handicap wouldn’t let me take my on umbrella and wouldn’t let me take my star foam cup. I could understand the clear bag but I think it just went a little overboard so in the afternoon waiting to watch my granddaughter there was no shade anywhere I had to go sit in the vehicle and let it run. If you have to or want to be there with your granddaughter some consideration should be be made for all the money that’s being spent at this place. You wont allow allow umbrellas then you’ll need to put a shade on the stadium you’re getting enough money for parking and admission from your guests and they should have some consideration. Between the stadium and parking expense and Ih 35 Austin of course it was Very unpleasant. And the people you have working the gates could have a little bit more consideration and tack in dealing with their guest. Poor...

It really deserves two reviews: Great place to watch a track meet, not so good for watching soccer. My only complaint with it as a track facility is that it would be nice if UT would cover the stands to provide some shade. Otherwise, it's perfect - you can see both track and field events without leaving your seat. But for soccer, the track creates too much distance between fans and the game. I attended the Texas UIL State Track Meet at Mike Myers Stadium. The stadium is home to the University of Texas track and field program and is what you expect of a NCAA Division I facility. Every year UT host the final UIL High School track competition for the season.
