I recently had the pleasure of attending a performance by Theo Von at the Bass Concert Hall, and I must say it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I entered the venue, I was captivated by the elegance and beauty of the theater.
First and foremost, the acoustics at Bass Concert Hall are simply incredible. Every word and joke uttered by Theo Von resonated throughout the venue, ensuring that every member of the audience could hear and appreciate his comedic genius. The sound quality was pristine, immersing us in the performance and allowing for a truly memorable experience.
The seating at Bass Concert Hall is also superb. The theater offers a perfect balance between comfort and proximity to the stage. No matter where you are seated, you feel connected to the performer and have a clear view of every nuance and gesture. The seats themselves are spacious and plush, providing a comfortable and enjoyable viewing experience.
The ambiance of Bass Concert Hall further enhances the overall experience. The beautiful decor, elegant lighting, and stunning architecture create a sense of grandeur and sophistication. It sets the stage for a memorable evening and adds a touch of magic to the performance.
The staff at Bass Concert Hall deserve special recognition. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that every attendee had a fantastic time. From the moment I entered the venue to the moment I left, I received excellent service that contributed to the overall enjoyment of the evening.
In conclusion, my experience at the Bass Concert Hall for Theo Von's performance was nothing short of outstanding. From the impeccable acoustics and comfortable seating to the exquisite ambiance and exceptional staff, every aspect of the venue contributed to an unforgettable evening. I highly recommend attending a performance at the Bass Concert Hall, whether it be for comedy, music, or any other event. It is truly a gem of a venue that guarantees a...

Peter Pan was a good show. Some improvements I would like to see is to have Gold Peak Sweet Tea also available in the Inner Circle Lounge bar and bring back UTPD for traffic duty in front of the Texas Science & Natural History Museum after the show. Otherwise the staff makes everyone feel welcomed.

The Bass Concert Hall went all out for Frozen the Musical with special drinks and signage. Two merchandise booths were setup on the first and fourth floor, and could get your photo taken with prints for purchase. The selection of merchandise was the same found on the Play Bill online store and bet the same at the Broadway show.
It was quick to enter and is a clear bag facility.

This is the performance arts center where I see all my Broadway touring shows, but this time saw 'Steve Martin & Martin Short: You Won’t Believe What They Look Like Today!'. It was a fantastic show.
As for the Bass Concert Hall it recently underwent a major renovation during Covid and will find it a very nice facility. Most parking is funneled to one of the nearby parking garages which may be frustrating to leave after the show, but traffic control helps vehicles leave in a timely matter. Getting into the place is quick where you scan your phone and walk through security. If never been here before you will find shorter lines for drinks and restrooms on other floors, and some have outdoor balconies. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The seats are wide and nice fitting but getting to your seat may be tough where this place has no center isles, and have to cautiously get by people without stepping on people's feet. But once seated will find the acoustics is good and...
Read moreWe saw 2 shows there this week, and it was our first time at this venue. November 10th, we saw the Distant World's Orchestra. Seats were ok. We were in the 2nd balcony. A little high up, but we picked our seats a little late so that's on us. The issue we had was during The Book of Mormon on November 14. At the time if booking the tickets, we'd never seen the venue, so based our selection off of previous shows we'd seen in other places. Once again, we were in Balcony 2, but in a different section. The biggest issue we had was 2 of the 3 seats we picked had the view obstructed by a stair railing. We picked seats along the front balcony wall specifically to get a clear view. Upon choosing the tickets, there was no mention of an obstructed view, and the tickets were the same price as surrounding seats, so there was no way to know this beforehand. The theater was crowded, so there was no way for us to swap seats.
My second complaint is that people were allowed to come in and out of the theater as the show was going. Ushers were showing late arriving guests to their seats with flashlights (inderstandably), but it was very distracting during the show. Lastly, unless you're on an end seat, you have basically no leg room. I'm 5ft 1, and was getting uncomfortable hy the end of the show. My stepfather (close to 6ft 3) would not have been able to sit for an extended period in those seats.
These issues (among others much smaller annoyances) were enough to make me not want to return...
