Would not recommend to non-UT students, as you can get a very similar meal at the same price with better taste. Depending on what you get, the food is good. Overpriced, but good. I've been eating at JCL since I was a freshman in college back in 2006. They improved their menu around then, and the food is definitely better than your average cafeteria food. However, it is still cafeteria food, so keep that in mind. It's probably better than Luby's, and offers similar fare. I am a UT student. The only time I eat here is when I have a time crunch. Vegetarians like me do not have a wide variety of choices, and at the same time food is quite overpriced.
