So let me start out with this before i get into the story, I suffer from anxiety, depression and i work for doordash. And this delivery was super late due to the merchant. So he canceled on me and that makes me the dasher delivering his food look bad.. but that wasn't the worst part, what comes next is.. I took the paper bag out from my thermal bag which by the way I had made sure that it was flush and level so that it would be presented to the customer in proper and professional fashion. Sadly That was not the case because when I pulled it out of my thermal bag I noticed it was leading it's hot sauce through the seams of the packaging therefore when I took it out of my thermal bag the wings container fell out of the bottom of the bag spilled all over my car, my clothes, and my hands got sticky and covered in sauce. Not to mention the sauce was your red spicy sauce and so I'm sure it's going to stain my clothes. I simply called first, talked to apparently The only nice employee in the store and explained the situation to inform her that I was coming back for a remake and return since the wings fell and of course were contaminated. Believing everything would be handled I made that decision to drive all the way back on my dime to the store, believing that they would do the considerable thing which was just to replace the order. Since Every item was returned and packaging even though the packaging was soaked in that sauce on the bottom, I just put it in another bag to bring it back as proof. After calling doordash to find out what to do with the food since the Customer had canceled the order. That's when door dash informed me that if I was to drive back to the store to show them the food to explain the incident that it would be up to me, because it was on my time and gas. But that I could keep said order after it was replaced. But she did not want to Replace the order instead she persisted to argue with me, waste more of my valuable time, and not to mention causing me to have a full blown panic attack to the degree that I then had to retreat to my service dog to calm me down. She questioned me kind of as though she was accusing me of lying about the refund coming out of door dash's Pocket, that it was not on her shoulders and that the food was still being paid for, And that food was returned to merchant andbrought COMPLETELY back after it fallen to the ground from It being poorly packaged. I don't like to complain In situations like this because I too work in the service industry. I just can't stress enough how this single expierience ESPECIALLY coming from a manager who is supposed to be setting an example for her employee's but instead she comes off callously picking on someone with a service dog who gets triggered by hostility and embarrassment due to my anxiety and panic attacks which she knowing caused when she made a spectacle in front of customers which sat in the lobby and also her fellow Employee's. So the male employee felt that he too could chime in to gang up on me. I just believe managers should be held to a higher standard. It is just very unprofessional, rude, unprovoked and like I said this put me in extreme distress to the point of which I felt bullied. Causing the onset of my panic attack. I not only lost money for the time wasted when I could have been working but I also cannot work for the rest of the night because my panic attack was so severe. That I now have to wait till I have fully gathered myself, Which can take anywhere from an hour to a few hours. I am so very sorry, I dreaded sending this. However I do not want anyone else to feel the way I feel. So I think it's only right that this manager should be taught how to communicate to people such as myself in a way that is cautious and respectful. For once the panic set in, I could not control my emotions, Unfortunately I cannot convey her name, because when I respectfully asked for it she would not provide it to me.
