A two story outcropping of rock the size of a basketball court in the middle of the Lou Neff Rd Loop inside Zilker Park. This is really what people are referring to when locals say "Zilker Park. There is a spectacular view of the downtown skyline from here and everything that is associated with Zilker Park in general is accessible by foot from here: the Botanical Garden, Town Lake, the hike and bike trails, Barton Springs pool, the Zephyr Miniature train ride for kids, Hillside Theater, the disc golf course, boat rentals, picnic areas, the volleyball courts, Deep Eddy park and pool, the green belt, restaurants, festivals... and, yes, a great place to bring dogs. There is a change in elevation of about 20-25 feet from the north side to the south side that makes a nice place to launch things for your dogs to fetch.
