I found so much joy, guidance, life, and community at Austin Life! This church is preaching the gospel and shows what true community looks like. Cory Johnson and Mike Mobley are fantastic leaders. My community group not only helped me dive deeper into the Bible, but also provided much needed laughs and light heartendess when necessary. There is always a way to get involved around the community. They provide opportunities to evangelize and further your leadership skills. I participated in prayer nights, worship nights, prayer walks, and foundational classes on the Gospel. Although I moved away from Austin, I made sure to stay plugged in. I was staying in a nearby hotel and decided to walk across the parking lot for their 10:30 a.m. service. They hold church in what I believe is a Boy Scouts of America building. I know that this service was perfectly planned just for me. :-) The Holy Spirit used this excellent young Pastor (Cory) to preach directly from God's Word into my heart. We attended Austin Life for about 8 months before moving out of state. I really appreciate the fact that the pastors read full passages from scripture, break it down in a consumable way, and they don’t avoid the difficult topics.
