I had AYCE dinner. Time limit is 90 minutes. Service is good. I mainly order nigiri and sometimes the fish came out different that my expectation, but still good. The NIGIRI is not truly AYCE. You get 4 rounds, each round limit to 10pcs nigiri and 3 rolls per person. It's hard one can use up this quota but since I am not a fan of rolls, that mean 40 pcs nigiri plus other items for me. But within 90 minutes I can only eat 3 rounds plus some more ice cream. Do pay attention to the "limited nigiri" section. Those items has a limit per round, and you can only order 2 rounds. Even if you so not use up the per round quota, you cannot go for a third round on those items. I missed out on trying aome limited items because it is not clear to me the way the server explained it. So if you plan accordingly, you can get a max of 20 pcs of nigiri types in that section. Although not truly AYCE, there are many other items you can order you will not be hungry. And if you order a decent amount according to your appetite, a 5th round won't do you any good cos you only have 90 minutes anyways. Don't miss out the ice-cream. Those are really good. Also the adeshi tofu (fried tofu). Garden salad is fresh. Tempura was good just the bottom most piece was too soggy bathing in oil. I loved the salmon roe (ikura). The sweet shrimp I expected it raw but it came somewhat cooked. The nigiris are not that nicely crafted as you order a la carte, but the fish part was small but tastes ok. For dining alone maybe don't order rolls cos you will be eating 6-8 pcs of the same thing. The poke salad.... This time I only found 1-3 tiny cubes of fish in the bowl, and a whole bunch of seaweed salad... which is quite salty. A bit disappointed in that arrangement. Wish I had more time/appetite to try more of the cooked food. 😝just don't have room to eat them when dining alone. Currently they do admit they are understaffed and asked for patience from customers. That is understandable and the AYCE order did come quite fast and the server was attentive to know when to give you back your order paper for next round. That actually made the dining experience more positive despite the confusion on the limited nigiri items. So 4 stars. Currently dinner is $32.95 + tax. I never tried AYCE lunch but rule says there is no nigiri, time limit is 60 minutes,...
Read moreWent with my family, 5 adults and my granddaughter who is 1 yrs old. I called in the middle of week made a reservation for the following Saturday at 7:30. I asked for a highchair when I made the reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant we were placed in a corner booth with the POS (point of sales) system right behind my head and kept hearing the loud ding in my ear. One of the wait staff said there was no note about needing a highchair and seemed upset that I refused a booster seat. The booth was not really a safe place to have the highchair because the wait staff was walking behind my granddaughter carrying plates of food and drinks. 4 of the adults ordered the sushi buffet and I ordered chicken teriyaki which I had shared with my grand daughter. We also ordered 5 drinks, tea and soda. The service was bad, it took forever to get our order in. We had to flag someone to turn in our order every time even though we were right in front of the POS system. My granddaughter and I had finished our meal but the others were still waiting for the second round of sushi. When the second round came they immediately put a third and final round of sushi. The meal took 2 hours. We asked for our check and one of the wait staff dropped it off and pointed out that the gratuity is added automatically in parties 5 or more. This was the first and only time we were informed of their policy of automatically adding the gratuity. The bill was $190. We paid with a card. When the server brought back the receipt, the bill changed to $201. We asked and what happened and she said the POS was delaying the drinks so the first bill didn't have all the drinks. We also noticed the gratuity went from 18% to 20% but we were so frustrated we just left it alone. Our card was ran once for $190 and then reversed and ran a second time for $201. We will not be going back. If you go do not get buffet sushi, go a la cart. With buffet you are charged in addition to the $32 buffet price for any sushi and rice you do not eat. The chicken teriyaki was definitely...
Read moreMore like a “ limit on what you can eat”. Tons of rules with how many round you can order and how many pieces per round. What kind of AYCE is this? Totally a false advertisement establishment. Service is bad. Server just walked by our table and talk to us but never stopped or looking at it. Like are you talking to me? We had a question about the food and a lady came to our table. Looked at our food and just walked away. Like hello what the F? We are talking to you. We ordered the “limited order only”. They tricked us and never brought it out. When we asked to double check on our order, the server checked with the kitchen and came out with a bunch of excuses. “ oh i couldn’t read the number so i just cancelled it” so why did you said you brought the food out earlier? Never got an apology from any of them. Fatty salmon (toro) is just a regular salmon. Not toro. Scam!!! I went to a lot of omakase and also sushi place all over the world and I’m from NYC where there are tons of sushi restaurants. I know my sushi! At the end, when we are trying to pay, the same lady earlier was begging for more tip!!! Seriously?!?? I was generous enough to leave $15 tip. No! They want more!! For what kind of service did i receive? A look from your face? A walk away from the servers? Or the undelivered food that i ordered. She will adjusted the tip on her own end by herself!!! Fraudulent! Scam! Sure! Take $4 more and you are getting nothing from us as customers. BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET...
