This was our first time in Avon and I had googled some attractions to check out while here. This one was my favorite by far. If you call ahead you can get the schedule for "make your own" projects that need a few days to cure and fire. I missed the Tuesday morning session by going in the afternoon; it would have been fun. The items in this shop are made by various artists, some local, but all from North Carolina. I highly recommend looking up Kinnakeet Clay if you are...

They have wonderfully crafted art, warm & welcoming staff, and a great artisan/owner. If you are staying in the OBX south of Nags Head, Kinnakeet Clay is well worth you time...
