💝Great employees...sometimes feels like they think ur stealing but it's ok I have nothing to hide but they are graceful about it. I am the one who walks to dollar store a lot but first has to stop in and see deuce......🐻🐾I wish I could have him for a day or on the nights n weekends💖💖💖 lol. Thatcher's is by far the best employee management and owner store I have had the pleasure to use in the entire state of oregon 💪☝️...they have helped me in plumbing when I never even seen the things before they took things back if it was wrong👩‍🔧👷‍♀️👷‍♂️👨‍🔧 🤜 they gave me certificates for being a customer🤛 and if something didnt work or stopped working it was replaced or refunded✔❗ and today they watched helped me open a scale and figure out battery situation and helped me tape box back so I didnt lose anything while walking home🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️💯.....they are considerate that we walk 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️so they make sure bag wont break♠️🥇 and dont forget ♠️ace♠️ let's me luv him before I leave.....while begging for treats🥩🧀🍗....❣💐

You walk in and boom... someone already knows your name. Not in a creepy way. In a “Hey buddy, how’s that leaky faucet?” kind of way. You came for a wrench, but somehow you leave with your spirits lifted and two new jokes about PVC pipe.

Everyone goes to Ace. Your neighbor? There. Your mailman? There. Your high school science teacher who retired five years ago but still tinkers with chainsaws? Definitely there.

The staff? Legends. They don't just help you. They see you. They remember your last DIY disaster and somehow don’t make you feel bad about it. Instead, they guide you toward the right thing and make you laugh while doing it.

It’s like Cheers, but with more caulk and less beer. And honestly, it might be better that way.

Most of the time they have what I need, occasionally they do not. For instance, I went in to get some Pex fittings. They have PEX tubing, but they decided to get rid of the Pex fittings because they weren't selling enough of them. Now that is only remotely understandable because is in a hardware store supposed to stock what a person needs. You know they have faucet valves in there, how often do people replace faucet valves? Yet they still stock those and make sure they are available for people who need them. It makes absolutely no sense they will continue to stock PEX tubing, but get rid of the Pex fittings. Other than that, I usually find what I need, and if you are a member customer with a Ace Hardware customer card, Ace Hardware sends you coupons in the mail every month usually for $5 off anything over 20 bucks. And they usually give you two of those a month. Sometimes you will get $7 off...
