Copper Belt Wines — Attraction in Baker City

An Oregon treasure! We stopped for a wine tasting, and were overwhelmed by the amiable Cathy. She is a down to earth, wonderful, person that walked us through a flight tasting. Started with a Rosé through some whites and into reds. Wonderful assortment. We found the Cab to be perfect to pair with a cheese plate from The Cheese Fairy (separate review but next door) . I cannot sing their praises enough as this was a perfect afternoon and unexpected wonderment in the middle of Oregon. I will definitely make this a regular stop and overnight here just for them. Pairing was great and the people are excellent . We are going home with two bottles (1-1/2 now)...

The wine they have available for tasting in the tasting room is much to warm. If you venture in during the summer months, I suggest you don't bother tasting the wine. The cheese works with the warmer weather. Staff are pleasant but do not seem to understand wine can be to warm to properly...

We didn’t get into the tasting room but we are members of Harvest Hosts and we parked our Class A + trailer at their actual farm and enjoyed a nice evening of sleep plus wine tasting. Great family and wine. Definitely recommend looking them up if you’re a member passing thru...
