Wonderful little restaurant in Baker city. It was my first time in the town and was quite hungry. My girlfriend and I decided to take a walk and while we weren’t really in the mood for Mexican cuisine it smelled good coming through the door and decided to give it a shot.

This place DID NOT DISAPPOINT! This is some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in my entire life, the tortilla chips were perfectly seasoned and crispy, the salsa had a depth of flavor my taste buds have never experienced.. in fact my girlfriend was basically drinking the salsa lol.

I ordered the enchilada combo and a lime margarita which also did not disappoint. The flavor coming out of all the food and drinks we ordered was something I didn’t expect out of this little charming town. The server was all by herself in a busy restaurant and had a wonderful attitude, she took care of all her customers in a timely manner with a smile. All Mexican cuisine I have from now on in the northwest will be compared to this establishment. If you’re in Baker City don’t leave until you try out...

Bafflingly slow and incompetent service. The two young women who were in charge of the front of the restaurant seemed astonished that I was displeased from waiting 30 minutes for my entree. They gave me vacant stares and told me that "that's how long it always takes." My water glass was empty most of the meal.

When it became obvious from my body language that I was unhappy with the amount of time I sat there without food, both ladies avoided eye contact and even walked in an exaggeratedly wide circle around my table so that they didn't come near enough to me to hear me raise my concerns. They never apologized, despite how comically long it took to get a very simple order onto the table. To be honest I still don't understand any of it, especially their seeming confusion at my displeasure... Were they gaslighting me? I'm not sure if they were on drugs or just not very smart. I rarely give bad reviews, please don't think I'm being dramatic - the experience was truly exasperating...

Came in with a group of starving kiddos on a long road trip trying to stop to celebrate one of their birthdays. There were two young girls working and this other bigger girl who was so rude. We ordered our food and watched as tables that came in after us get chips and salsa. We politely asked to get some for the kids because they were hungry. The server told us they were all out and it would be a few. We then continued to watch as tables were served chips so we asked the other server if we could get some and she rudely said "it will be a few, we are super busy". There were a total 7 tables between them and 5 came in after us. It honestly felt like they didn't prioritize us because we had kids. None of the kids were being loud or rude. They lost our business, we wont be eating at an establishment that has such disrespectful people. We drove down the road to another mexican restaurant and it...

I took my food to go, but there is plenty of seating here. Masks required! Got the adobada street tacos with beans, rice, and guac and some green and red salsas. The meat in the tacos is amazing! I would highly recommend them. Enchiladas will be by next trip. Only one suggestion... A little lime for the tacos would just add that little extra something. Service was quick. Less than 10 minutes. There are benches outside if you want to enjoy the sunshine while you wait.

Stopped in for a late lunch, the staff was kind and attentive. I ordered a tamale which was huge and had a great touch of spice (but wasn't close to too spicy for me). I also had the vegetarian fajitas with the homemade corn tortillas and they were some of the best fajitas I've ever had. Highly recommend this place if you're ever in town.

Presentable food served by an un-caring waitress. The food itself was okay, but I wouldn't go back. The waitress seemed very unhappy and was greeted by incoming customers instead of the other way around. The food would need to be exceptional to return to this level of service.
