Had been here for years with the same artist. Followed her everywhere. I loved her. Personally, a good friend of mine. This happened some time ago where I decided to break ties. I went there for a cut and colored. Granted I did require some bleaching. My hair roughly past my ears. First, I lived an hour away. I made special trips to go down there to see this artist. I arrived at 10:30 and I went home at 8pm that night. Found on the way home they closed all the roads going back home so it took me 2 hours to get home. She continuously left me. She left a total of 3 different times in the middle of doing my hair. For personal reasons. Understanding I get it life happens. Being a mom happens. But 3 times? That was just taking my kindness to another level. Second, I paid her a deposit for color about a week before I went. Like okay understand have to get color for my hair the products. No biggie. I have never spent over 360 with a tip in the 8 years I was with her and my hair was down to my butt every single time I saw her maybe twice a year. I get cost of products went up. World is expensive. When it comes down to the payment. She tells me it's another 500 something on top of the 80. I'm blown back. Like what the hell? So at this point I've been there 10 hours so I'm like well I just want to leave. So I pay and leave. Guts telling me something is wrong. So I reach out. They can't give me a good explanation besides that products got more expensive. Never would provide me a receipt or a break down of costs. She said she used a special conditioner in my hair and bought me one too. Never approved any extra charges. So again mind you my hair was to my ears and the times before I went my hair was to my butt. Never paid that. If there was a huge pay increase she should of made me aware before I sat those hours, dealt with her constantly leaving. Next day comes around she is in LA on a vacation. Concidence? I reached out to the manager and I personally am not that type of person but something just didn't seem right. The manager said I'll look into please don't leave a bad review. Months go by. I've called, and messaged. Zero response to anything. The whole process was distasteful and the workers being dishonest. I decided to post this review for the fact of the way they handled everything. For personal reasons I will not say the artist name cause she knows who she is and so does the manager. Be cautious about this establishment. I never in a million years thought someone i trusted and a salon I had been to so a long time could ever do something this sketchy and disrespectful. If they would of been straight forward in the beginning and gave me actual evidence of what they did and how much no problem. The fact they were beating around the bush. Went in to get my hair colored purple and cut all the split ends off. I was seated in the room in the back where the lighting was bad, and I had to take off my glasses so they wouldn't get ruined by the bleach or color, therefore I couldn't see much. The stylist started out by telling me she needed to cut my hair before the bleaching, lifting and coloring. If you have ever had your hair bleached to get color applied, then you know that a hair cut happens after all the steps taken to properly color hair because all that chemical treatment fries the ends of your hair. But, she is the hair dresser and I'm not, so I foolishly trusted that she knew what she was doing or would take good care of my hair. So she cut an extremely crooked side shave and didn't cut enough of my split ends to even tell that she did anything, of course I couldn't see this because of the bad lighting and I had to keep my glasses off for the hair cut and treatments. Next she bleached my hair then washed it then treated it with a lifter twice to lighten it so the color would be vibrant. After all that it was time for the color. She put the color in and we waited for a bit which didn't seem that long to me for the color to completely saturate, but once again, shes the hair dresser and I assumed she knew what she was doing. She washed my hair again and blow dried it then she made sure she got her $180 and i put my glasses on and saw some spots on the front of my hair that she missed with the color but not the bleach, she got a bit irritated that I pointed that out and just smeared a touch of color in my hair and sent me on my way and didn't even give me a mirror to look at the back or the shaved portion. When I got home and I checked it out and saw the disaster. Bleached hair that didnt get coverage, side shaved portion is extremely crooked, what was once 1to 2 inches of split ends is now 5 inches of damage. When I called to talk to the manager, the manager acted like it was all my fault and refused to give me any amount of refund...

Everyone there is super friendly, but I have one issue. I wanted to go platinum blonde and saw the great reviews online. I never got my hair done before, they said they can do it for about 500$ so cool! I went with it and ended up paying 1000$ They only cared about the money that was being brought in said by my father because they rather have other clients come in and use toner to receive thousands of dollars and me only pay so little because i'm one person. (My father called asking why I was paying so much and this is what they told him) I understand inventory but instead should of told me pricing was going to be different because of all the toner being used or something else you know? I was never told that I couldn't wash my hair for 72 hours after getting a toner. (learned this weeks later from another stylist) I washed my hair the next day and my hair wasn't like how I left the salon. They ended up setting an appointment for me to get re toned for free. Said they were only going to charge me for a deep condition. Which I have got done there before and paid $35 for, and they charged me $100.They proceeded to sell me a shampoo and conditioner along with another deep conditioner. i used it every other day because i was told to. Said my hair was going to be heathy and not break. Few weeks later another stylist sees my hair from somewhere else and she tells me they screwed me over with the products. im supposed to use joico once or twice a month, and has WAY to much protein that hair could only absorb so much and is going to break my hair. beyond disappointed that they would do this to me. My hair is past my waist and i need to cut it to my shoulders for it to feel healthy again. Tianna was my stylist, 8 years of growth...
