Baltimore - Penn Station — Attraction in Baltimore

After 24 hours in the Baltimore airport from cancelled flights, I tried the train route. In my 45 years I have never taken a train! Wow it is smooth and comfortable.

But the biggest reason for the 5 stars is a gentleman working at the ticket counter at the BWI station at 9 am this morning 12/26/22. I have been trying to get back to Pittsburgh. A Christmas miracle occurred so far and I am now a Ravens fan.

I was at the train station 5 hours early because I had to get out of the airport madness and was informed from an auto call that my train was cancelled. I went to the ticket counter in tears. I have a Steelers neck pillow and he said he’d only help me if I became a ravens fan. I said I would be any fan he wanted, I’d be a cowboys fan or a pats fan….lol. Anyways he was able to book me quickly on another train. This has been a pleasant experience to travel this way and it’s e cause of people like him and the comfort...

ITS CLEAN PEACEFUL ;EVERYTIME I COME IN THERE 2 USE THE BATHROOM I AM CONSTANTLY BEING WATCHED BY THIS ONE GUY HE EVEN TRIED 2 FOLLOW ME ON THE BUS HIM AND HIS FRIEND COME THERE 2 TRY 2 INTIMIDATE ME EVERYTIME I COME IN THERE THIS YOUNG GUY WILL START TALKING 2 HISSELF THEY ACT VERY TERRITORIAL OVER A PUBLIC PLACE THAT THE CITY OWNS THIS GUY WAS STANDING RIGHT WHERE I WANTED 2 CHARGE MY PHONE JUST SO I COULDNT USE IT I DONT BOTHER ANYONE WHEREVER I COME IN THERE I ASK NOONE 4 ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL I STAY PEACEFUL AND QUIET AND JUST MIND MY OWN BUSINESS I HAD 2 REPORT 2 THE SECURITY AND THE POLICE THAT THIS GUY IS ALWAYS WATCHING ME WHENEVER I COME 2 PENN STATION JUST 2 USE THE BATHROOM AND MEET UP WITH MY MOM SOMETIMES , SOMETIMES I JUST STOPPED COMING THERE I ONLY COME THERE WHEN ITS BAD WEATHER OUTSIDE AND 2 STAY WARM UNTIL ITS TIME...

Great location! The city bus stop and the purple line, which is free, are right at the station. Also, the light rail which goes all the way to BWI stops 2 blocks away, so you can get to and from the Pennsylvania train station without a car! If you do have a car, there is parking but the kiss and ride is congested with taxis and ubers.

Unless you have problems with mobility, it's better not to clog the front of the station. At peak times you'll be stuck in traffic for no reason.
