These other ratings are not being honest lol. Predatory school. 1L courses are curved to a C+ meaning that if you produce good work and everyone else does slightly better… you fail and lose the scholarship.
UB Law failed to incorporate law writing and Civ Pro as in previous years— so students failed and UB casually switched it back. Class quality objective experiments to the detriment of YOUR time and money.
The school fails on helping first generation students find the information they need to apply to ‘OCI’ and other things. Counselors do not have any interest in helping students who work while in school. You miss out on internships and other opportunities. They seem to only have an interest in helping privileged students.
Emails to counselors need to be sent at least 3 times in order to get a reply- and the reply never answers your question.
You’d be lucky for any of the LCDO staff to make it to their meeting with you. I scheduled 4 separate meetings and had to switch to another counselor in order to get ONE meeting accomplished.

Read moreA one-star review on this board initially frightened me and made me feel cautious about the law school I plan to attend, with claims that it was predatory.
However, after finalizing a financial decision, the school itself actually called me — concerned about a choice I had made that wasn’t in my best interest. They guided me toward a much better solution so I wouldn’t end up struggling financially in the long run.
It’s been months and weeks of frequent, thoughtful communication and advice that this school has offered me completely free of charge. They’ve provided guidance and genuine care every step of the way, ensuring not only that I succeed academically, but also that I don’t end up burdened financially.
This review is for the many hours the staff has spent helping me individually. Thank you...
