This is one of my favorite places to eat. I found them a little over a year ago and I'm in love. It's a small little bar with a neighborhood bar feel. Spectacular dance floor and they just added a museum upstairs called the NightOwl. So service is always great..wait staff is always attentative. I usually go for Happy hour but sometimes I order lunch. My recommendations are, the Brussel sprout ( 10 out of 10), the pretzel bites( 10 out of 10), the kale salad ( 7 out 10/its a little tough), rabbit food ( 10 out of 10). Pete's pasta was also pretty good (8 out of 10). The froze drink is very good. The prices are very good.

Royal Blue has a fun, lively vibe and is a solid spot if you're looking to mingle and enjoy a night out. The scene is energetic, and it's easy to strike up a conversation or just people-watch while you sip your drink. The service stands out, the ladies behind the bar are friendly, attentive, and super helpful. We also appreciated that the menu includes vegan options, which isn’t always a given at places like this. The only downside was the music, it could use a refresh or more variety to match the upbeat energy of the crowd. Overall, it’s a cool place and worth checking out if you're in the area.

They have a really neat 70’s inspired living room in the back of the bar area leading to a downstairs dance floor it looked like. A real gathering could be had if this location does rentals! Nice restroom area too. Multiple stalls. The drink ‘Debbie does Dallas’ was a bit flavorful but I felt its strength was a bit minimal. Joseph the bartender rocks! Dallas the other bartender as well was pleasant and made delightful chit chat. I recommend this as a haunt of the Baltimore City nightlife if North Charles is too busy of a street for visitors.

So tonight was the worst night I have ever had here.

Creepy guys. Had a man grab 2 of my friends grinding his junk on them as they tried to break away and then threaten to fight me(but was cowardly when another man stepped in) when I told him to leave us alone.

The security guard’s colorism was IMMENSE. He definitely singled out my group to scream, be rude, get aggressive, and posture towards us(again, women) when we were leaving and waiting for our ubers. Again, was kind and nice to people of a complexion lighter than a paper bag and his colorism/racism was pretty apparent (despite there not being any aggression on our end). The bartender had already respectfully asked us to get ready to leave as they were closing and we were gathering our stuff to head out so odd behavior from their security guard. I also want to note that same guard(5’6 black man with a long beard, bullet proof vest, and baseball cap) threatened physical aggression towards one of the women in our group who called out his discriminatory behavior when we were ALREADY OUTSIDE. They should hire security who know how to actually de-escalate situations instead of fueling fires and provoking random people!

This isnt the safest environment for women, especially black women so be on the look out. A lot of creepy, aggressive types tend to come here. Sucks because the disco vibe is GREAT! Ill stick to...

Went on a Saturday night with a group. Took time to be seated which I expected. They provide a beeper and let you wait in the empty dance club which was pretty cool.

Our server must have been very busy. Once seated, it took some time to get to our table, so the server took our drink + food orders at once. Drinks came out pretty quick, food at a good pace. Fish n Chips are excellent, as were the pretzel bites offered as a dessert. The Bang Bang Chicken Sandwich didn't have much bang, more sweet.

After our food came out, the server pretty much disappeared. There were several times we needed alcoholic drinks refilled but never got the opportunity. We did get one refill of water, 2 large bottles placed on the table quickly before running off to another table. One of the members of our group ordered fries but was given tater tots. He ended up leaving them because the server never came back. Still missing, we had to locate them to ask for the check. We were seated around 7pm and finally paid around 9:45pm.

The atmosphere is very cool on either end. The bar in the middle has a nice ambiance and wasn't terribly crowded around 10pm....

The atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious. The bartender I experienced before the shift change was very pleasant as well. However, the bartender that took over the remaining time I was there was not attentive at all. She even threw away half of my tequila shot before I was done. Despite of experiencing this I decided to still tip her. I used my card to reserve my tap at the bar but ultimately wanted to pay in cash at the end of my stay. When I told the bartender I wanted my check she automatically swiped my card on file without giving me an option. I didn't make a fuss at all about it. I signed and tipped. The next day I seen an additional $15 charge on top of my bill and tip I originally left. I plan on calling the manager today to get the stolen additional tip back and my original tip. Bad Bartender!!!! Dallas is her name. Tall brunette, wears glasses and bland personality. Whenever I decide to return, I will always sit where I can be serviced by an alternative person. Bad For Business!!!!!

Watch your account for higher amounts then originally agreed upon...
