
Beautiful historic house
It is beautifully constructed and designed. I like all of the furnishings and objects that they put in to show what it would have looked like in the past.
They talked about the history of both the owner and the slaves. They talked in great detail about the slavery and disturbing history behind it. It was very nice of them to put it there to educate the public about the truth.
They have a session with guided tour. There is also qr code for each room for self-tour.
The staffs were nice and friendly. They were helpful and knows well about the subjects.

Entrance starts with a gift shop and loads of stories peppered throughout the residence about generations of the Carrolls, the enslaved that worked there, renovated antiques and rooms.
