I don't come here often b/c they've NEVER fulfilled special instructions for my orders. In the past, I've had a friend with an dairy allergy who ordered a cheesesteak with NO cheese (at the inside kiosk)...and of course cheese was all over his sandwich. Then we had walk back to get it corrected b/c we didn't notice til we returned home. That was over a year ago.
Today, I ordered on ubereats and made a note not to put coleslaw on a sandwich. THEN knowing full well they've never actually modified sandwiches as requested (whether ordering online or in store), I called the store, and waited on hold twice for someone to pickup. I gently prompted this person to please leave coleslaw off my sandwich and informed them that I made a note on my order to this effect, but decided to call b/c this store was bad at special orders. Then the male who picked the phone informed me that the sandwich had already been made. I asked "hey, could you please make sure it doesn't have coleslaw---since I requested that?" He angrily responded that he'd have to throw the sandwich away, and make another one, and that it was a waste...as if any of that was my problem.
If y'all mismake food---there is the cadre of homeless folk on that very street you could give it to (this is what I personally do when you guys mis-make my order). Or you could leave it in the bag to make up for your chronic mistakeS and the fact that I had to call to make sure you actually fulfilled my requested order after a history of messed up orders. And don't try to make me feel guilty about the fact that YOU guys messed up.
Your lack of training and quality control has nothing to do with me getting what I paid for.
Get better THB. I've visited this place roughly half a dozen times in about a year---despite the fact that I walk past you twice a day---and I think you've gotten my order right twice.
Edit: also I paid an extra dollar to upgrade to the panini bread and I still got rye....meaning they still made a mistake AFTER they remade the sandwich to correct their...

The menus are easy to spot, if a bit hard to see from a distance—but given that they're displayed on something like 5 TVs, and their options are numerous, one can easily forgive the small font. Bigger TVs wouldn't hurt, though, or an animated/rotating menu.
Once your order is settled, you will experience some of the best customer service in the area. THB is clearly run by intelligent, caring people who know how to make a restaurant work, which is displayed in the staff's friendly demeanor and helpfulness. For instance, I hadn't thought about what bagel I wanted for my sandwich, and I asked the very nice man at the cashier if he had a favorite. He was most obliging and helped me settle on an everything bagel.
The food is always good. Their Reubens are fantastic, and the breakfast sandwich I got today was delicious. This is one of the few places I've been where "bacon" means more than two slices... and these were cooked to perfection—just crispy enough to break off where the sandwich is bitten, so there are few occasions to reset the order of the sandwich.
Besides all that, they've got quick service, reasonable prices, and good coffee!
I highly recommend trying out THB when you're in the area around breakfast or lunchtime. Chances are you won't be...
Read moreAgghhhhh You want so badly to give this place a good review but it’s gone downhill badly. Baltimore is in desperate need of bagel spots. I have always heard not so good stuff regarding the owners so I try to take things with a grain of salt but it’s obvious they take shortcuts. I got some bagels to go and when I got home they were soft in the middle and cold. Obviously frozen and were thawing out. How can a bagel be crispy on the outside and mushy in the inside with no butter or cream cheese? I guess underbaked. The bagels just taste bland, I really wish they would baked the seasoning in and salt the dough, but the garlic is burnt and all the everything spice just falls off. Look I can get a ciabatta roll with everything spice from Giant that tastes better. Plus their butter just tasted cheap. The ordering system is terrible. Look I get that things need to be streamlined but you aren’t McDonald’s. Not at prices of 12 dollars for just a sandwich. My elderly guests can barely read the menu posted it’s so small or navigate the computer. When you ask for someone to take your order instead they act like it’s so inconvenient for them to do so. Fine ok I mean someone takes my order across the street at Starbucks.
Anyways maybe they will look into this or not but I...
