Save your money!!! Fun date night but overpriced for what you you receive. The ticket price was $41 per person. I give paint parties as fundraisers at school often, and we buy canvases from Dollar Tree for $1.25. They come in various sizes. I said all of this to say that we received a dollar store quality canvas and paint to do whatever we wanted. So disappointing! Paint and sip classes that I have attended in the past are big and nice quality canvases, and someone actually traces something for you to paint and guides you through your project. Usually, you are also able to bring in your own wine to these events. Not this one. They actually have the nerve to have a bar and try to sell you watered-down drinks for additional money. If I went again, it would be on someone else's wallet.... not.mine! This is the only Fever-up event that I was disappointed in and truly felt ripped off. If you're going to charge people $41, the least you could do is add 1 drink per person and have an actual sketch for people to paint. Oh, and lastly, START ON TIME! Our time was supposed to begin at 8:15, but we did not get into the room until 8:40. We had to wait in the front lobby where it was freezing because the door kept opening every time the guests arrived. I will not refer anyone...

I went to an private event at the Motor House on 07/13/19, worst experience of a lifetime. Bar personnel terribly understaffed and inexperience. Spend (30) plus minutes at the bar awaiting service. After I gained the attention of the bar keep I was told they did not have the standard vodka "absolute" and was offered Tito's as a substitute. The bar keep left again, 15 mins later came back and said we are out of Tito's and could not offer anything else just gave me the deer in the headlight look. I then observed the bar and noticed they did not have much to offer period. I am not sure if the bar was the responsibility of Motor House or the host "The Glow of LUV 50th Bday Celebration for Marc Luv House" but in terms of business this was a epic failure and embarrassment to all that supported this event and event space. If this was the responsibility of the event planner Motor House needs to put out a clear disclaimer when they are not responsible for the bar and bar staff because impression last forever and I do care who you bring through this establishment for what cause I will never step foot in this subpar event hall again. "ONLY IN BALTIMORE CAN YOU FIND EVENT SPACES THAT OPERATE...

The Indie Fest artists were marvelous. When thinking about this event, I pictured a nightclub scene. The bar is open, food being served and performances right slab in the middle in the thick of things. Maybe next year or years to come because they deserve the space.

Now to the problem with the all gender facilities. I went to use it and while I was in one of the stalls; a little girl entered. She heard me on the phone briefly, so she paused. She was definitely hesitant to use the bathroom.

She was careful but she hurried herself and in the same instance I waited for her to completely leave the restroom due to not making her nervous or uncomfortable. It was an experience where someone would have to explain themselves if I didn't put my thinking cap on to consider a grown man like myself inside a restroom with a small child.

This is a bad kind of different and I tried to get the concept of it however the reality inside those stalls can be...

I recently had my For Lovers Only Baltimore show at the Motor house. I have worked with them in the past as well and each time has been top tier experience. Hands down this is one of the greatest venues in Baltimore especially for independent artists. I have to personally shout out Vik Lizardo who was my direct contact and coordinator for my last 3 shows/events. When I tell you this woman is AMAZING, that’s an understatement. She was thorough, professional and brought my vision to life EACH time BEYOND my expectations. She truly advocates for the indie artist and we NEED more people like her!!! I have to also shout out Camille Connor for doing sound and lighting for me at the recent show. Set up was done in a timely fashion and the show sounding INCREDIBLE!! Lighting was exactly what I wanted. If you are looking to host an event or put on a concert, MOTOR HOUSE is your venue.

Visited in Jan. as Arts Every Day displayed 10x10 point of views with Baltimore's Cease Fire being the theme. The 1st floor layout has a coffee shop on the North Ave side with a decent sized lobby. There's another sizable room to the rightt and up a few stairs. The inside looks like a small theatre; all black with a small stage in the front. It is a nice space for a smaill reception. The back exit has a back alley that has been spray painted by various city artists (don't quote me on that). This makes sense as it's near MICA. Parking is in the pay by space lot behind the building, once you exit the alley. I didn't stay at the event a long time, but enjoyed the space. Ps. There is office space upstairs.
