I took my car for an alignment due to the coupon on the website. 1st they told me I needed a ball joint then the guy said he wanted to check with the mechanic again to make sure that's what I needed. Then he came back and said I needed to replace the lower control arm and ball joint for over $500. So I took the car for a 2nd opinion elsewhere and they told me the control arm was fine and all I needed to replace was the ball joint. So I took the car back to Precision for the alignment after the ball joint was fixed. I mentioned the coupon for 49.90 and the girl at the front desk had no clue. She said I can do $69... and I said no, the coupon is on your website for $49. She said I know the 2 wheel alignment is $29, but I'll give you the 4 wheel for $59. I had to log on the site with my cell and show her the coupon. Then she said "Oh OK, I'll give it to you at $49. So after about 5 min of back and forth which is extremely unnecessary in my opinion, I was finally able to educate the employee on something she should already be familiar with. It's only 10 or less coupons on the website. If nothing else, all of the current promotions should be printed for your employees so that customer's time and energy are not wasted going back and forth. I received a call back from the shop saying they can't complete the alignment because my bushings on the lower control arm were cracked. If that is true, then why was there no mention of the bushings a week ago? I learned that on my car the bushings can be replaced without replacing the entire control arm. Needless to say, the quote was extremely overpriced. Each part I was quoted was approximately 20% overpriced when I called around to check at various parts stores. After a little research I learned replacing control arm bushings should take less than an hour. However my quote had a labor amount of $300. That's absurd. To the owner, I will never trust this place to do anything to my car outside of an oil change or wheel alignment and that's only with a coupon. I know businesses have to make money and you probably push the employees to increase sales month after month. I have a sales background so I know how it is and that's why I research everything. However the best way to retain business and get referrals is giving hour customers an experience that they don't get anywhere else. With a 2.5 star rating it should be clear thats not happening at your store. To customers, be smart and do your research. Get a 2nd opinion if any major work needs to be done on...
Read moreI won’t recommend this place for anyone under any circumstances. You will waste your money and your time for nothing exactly. I purchased a voucher from Groupon to do 4 tire alignment and unfortunately they were the closest place to my work so I went Friday at time of my appointment and I was told that one of there mechanics went sick and left 2 or 3 hours ago!!!! Why nobody called me then to offer appointment change ?!! I don’t actually..... Then they offer me to come Saturday at any time to finish that so I took another appointment for next day and I walked in 5 min early they did the paper work and I asked how long it will take to finish everything and the answer was 2 HOURS. I sat down watching the mechanic in the shop behind the glass window while he eats, smoke and people getting in and out to the shop all the time while he is supposed to be working!!!!! Every while the man comes to the glass where they sticked the the working orders and he keeps starting for 10 to 15 min and his face expressions tells he is suffering!!!!! After spending 3 hours I was told that I will be next then 45 min later the mechanic came to me and asked me what I need for my car!!!! I answered wheel alignment so he asked back why do I think my car needs alignment?!!!! I answered because my tires are brand new and I need to do the routine recommend service as per my car manufacturers!!! Then he said I don’t think your car need any alignment so I asked him to check he looked like he didn’t like my request but he went outside and pulled in my car and start to do his stuff !!! At the end and after spending FOUR AND HALF long hours in there the car did not beed any alignment and the changed the wipers blades with new cheap useless blades which I regret asking them to do so. Oh and at the end When I took my paper work I reviewed when I reached home to find that the but a different car make, mode and of course a different vin number!!!!! 4 1/2 Hours...
Read moreIF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A NEGATIVE I WOULD! I bought the Groupon for the 4 wheel alignment. First off you have to line up outside of the shop at 7:50a because after 4 people, they tell you they can’t see you today. Drop off only so you can’t even wait for it. I specifically told the huge guy behind the counter (only way to describe him) to call me if you could not perform the alignment or if there was a problem. He didn’t and there was a problem!! I had to call to check to see if my car was done. On the phone on the way back to get my car, he tells me it’s done and the mechanic did the best he could do. I said what does that mean? He told since I have different brand name tires that he could only do so much. He was so unprofessional! When I got to the store HE LIED AND SAID HE TOLD ME ABOUT MY TIRES BEFORE BC HIS MANAGER WAS RIGHT THERE! I was heated and he argued back with me. He gave me a print out of my tire alignment. The paper said I passed the inspection but when the mechanic that inspected my car drove it.. He told me it was exactly the same way it was when I bought it to them. So he lied on my paper! They didn’t even touch my car or give me an alignment! He didn’t charge me bc he was caught in front of everybody. This was for a state inspection. I failed and now I’m at another place getting another alignment done bc the first one was never performed. They don’t get busy the way the day they do and they do piss poor quality work.. if they even fix what you came for....
