Soul Smoked BBQ & Catering — Local services in Baltimore

At Baltimore Pride this weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of running across this rather unassuming food table among a sea of over-large, loud mega stalls. They had a sample display of their food on the table before them, and I stopped to ask, "Is... is that a barbecue quesadilla?"

It was. And it was brisket. And it had mac and cheese on it. And it was incredible.

I was born and raised in the south and spent my entire adult life living in Memphis, the home of the best BBQ in the world. I have had Interstate, Neely's, the Commissary, the Rendezvous, Central, and more. So when I say that this was the best brisket I have put in my mouth since the original Neely's closed, please understand what high praise that is.

Were I to move back to Memphis, the chance of getting Soul Smoked BBQ somewhere would be enough to bring me back...

I felt absolutely ripped off by them last night at the Ministry of Brewing. One sausage for $12 feels like not enough food. When you see photos on this Google page showing you big piles of sides, sandwiches stacked with meat and vegetables - just know that is not what you’ll be getting. I saw the chicken sandwich and it was just a bun with a modest portion of chicken, no toppings like is shown in the photos on here.

Plus, it was incredibly slow service. The person cooking spent a long time making one dish at a time, leaving most of the cooktop empty and letting orders pile up. Then they tried to do five at once and couldn’t handle the workload of it, leaving my...

I went a location the do on Thursdays i was disappointed to say the least the Italian sausage had no flavor and the crab soup was more of a cowder with corn inside and for the price of 15.00 for a large which wasnt a large in my opinion is not worth it a bystander said it was great so i tried it because i am a soup buff but i was greatly disappointed in this food unfortunately loafers on 40 gives you way more crabmeat and its flavorful and cheaper price for more soup even if you take out.
