First trip to Boone’s after driving from Louisville, and unfortunately will probably be my last. We arrived later than expected, and hurried to look around as they were closing soon. Approached the register, and the clerk was complaining about all the customers to the customer in front of us, and how they won’t leave, and she wished they would turn the lights out on them. After it was now my turn, my card was having issues due to their system, and my bank not cooperating. She told me to remove my card, in which I did, and this process went a couple times, the machine told me do not remove my card, I mentioned that to her and she then was loudly yelling at me to remove my card. I said to her that she didn’t have to be rude, and she continued to argue with me. I was very embarrassed at this point and just wanted to get out. I walked out with my family and we were conversations amongst ourselves, and she opened the door, and yelled EXCUSE ME!!! We were not talking about her what so ever. And you pick up the glass and look at it. That when you said you didn't know how the glass got there. And we have only talk to you one time. So you did see the video and you pick up the glass off the plate where the deer summer sausage was. Yes you did offer me and my husband $100.00 for the plate with sausage and glass,so you could desroy it But what about the safety of your customers? Read moreI guess I'm old fashion but I believe when a buisness has its doors open you should get the same service 20 minutes before closing as you do 20 minutes after they open. I understand people are ready to go home at the end of the day but at the same time people are still trying to get the things they need for their families. I tried to get my country ham for our Christmas dinner tomorrow but instead the lady said they done cleaned the slicers and rushed me to the register with the few things i managed to get off the shelf. Im not putting Boones Butcher shop down at all. Their products are second to none in town and Im sure if Jerry knew how things happened he would be highly aggrivated to say the least. I worked there myself during highschool and they always strived to keep their customers happy. Its just sad how 1 employee can hurt a buisness.
