Me and my daughter were celebrating mother's day weekend and the Inn did not disappoint! Host provided clear communication prior to arrival. The Inn was easy to find, parking was close and the location was great. Upon arrival there was a lovely charcuterie board, snacks & refreshments waiting for us which was a nice pick me up after our drive from Indy. When checking in our room we found a bottle of sparkling cider, a floral box of goodies for mother's day, a cookie and bottled water which was a nice surprise. There were a couple of indoor & outdoor common areas to relax. Mother's day breakfast was amazing and plentiful! We actually had to take some of it to go. The host was great! I would highly recommend staying at the Inn. We will definitely be back! On our way out we stopped at the Chuckleberry Farm & Winery which I would also highly recommend.

My goodness where to start with this place. I came here with my mom and we could not have been happier with our stay. David and Susan are absolutely wonderful hosts! Even with a broken ankle David insisted on carrying my heavy suitcase upstairs to my room. The house is beyond comfortable and so charming. We were in the violet room and it was very cozy. The house is a short walk to anything you need downtown and you seriously cannot beat the breakfasts provided by the hosts and fresh baked cookies waiting out in the main area. This place is a must stay!!

My husband and I attended a wedding at My Old Kentucky Home in Bardstown. We chose to stay at the historic Red Rose Inn, less than a mile from the venue and within walking distance of the central business district (bars, restaurants, boutiques and museums). Our hosts were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Our second floor room was very clean and comfortable. Our breakfast the next morning was delicious and we had a great conversation with the other couples that had rented the other rooms. Highly recommend.

Lovely B&B that operates like a well-oiled machine with multiple conveniences, such as punch code front door and guest rooms. Makes it so easy when you don't have to keep a key. Plenty of snacks and drinks available 24 hours, and an impressive charcuterie tray laid out in the afternoon. Our room was comfortable and convenient, since it was on the first floor. We missed having nightstands, but there were plenty of other spots for our stuff in the room. Back deck was especially nice, and felt like a refuge compared with the bustling street on the front-porch side of this gracious 200-year-old home. Innkeepers Carrie and Dan were good-natured and personable, offering suggestions on local destinations, and insights into local history and culture. All in all, a...

Lovely and charming Inn, conveniently walkable to the downtown area. The owners communicated all of the important details and were quick to address any issues. The breakfast was decent, and snacks were a nice touch. The backyard area was perfect to hang out and enjoy a nice quiet drink. We stayed in the garden room and found the WiFi didn’t quick reach, and the bathroom was TINY with very few amenities like toiletries. The bed was not very comfortable, and the room windows let in a lot of light and sound (for anyone who is a light sleeper— a sound machine was provided.) I think the owners are still in the process of updating the inn, and will probably continue to make...
