While visiting the area for a family wedding, my wife and I stumbled across this shop while during our downtown exploration. It had a delightful assortment of pleasing aroma products. I'm a fan of scented candles, of which there were aplenty, but there were soaps, lotions, and other goodies, all reasonably priced.

Everything they make smells amazing! The wax cubes are my favorite, and they last so much longer than any other brands I've purchased. You will not be disappointed with any of their products and they are such nice people. They even welcomed our furry little guy, and he made himself right at home. ❤️

We found these products at a rest area on one of our trips. It was the smelly jellies car air freshener we bought back in May. I'm on my last one of the two we bought and these things smell GREAT and they last!!! When we searched and found them online and then realized they have an online store with so many other products I got so excited!! I cannot wait to order more (just ordered 2 candles and 4 more car jellies) They even threw in a brand new scent since one of the ones I ordered was no longer a part of the product line. Super nice of them and I can't wait to smell it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! If you haven't tried them, what are you waiting for?!? Get an order placed!!! You...

10/12/2023 I am adding to my original review because it bears repeating. Love the products here! Handmade soaps, lotions, lip balms, bath bombs, and more! If you are in Bardstown, I highly recommend Making Good Scentz! Someone gave me a couple bars of a soap from what I assume is "Bigfoot's doctor." I have been using bar soaps from Making Good Scentz religiously for four years without any dryness, even in the dry winter air. After two showers using the Bigfoot Dr. soap my skin looked dry, and started to itch. I proclaim I will only use the Making Good Scentz Bar Soap in my shower. Steven Stivers and his crew know their craft! I love so many of the Making Good...

My family Loooooooooooooves Making Good Scentz! Steve and Dana are really helpful and display wonderful customer service. The soaps feel better than any high end moisturizing soap. Your skin stays soft and the body cream leaves you feeling like silk ALL day! I purchased the lip balms for my girlfriends for Christmas and they are begging me to bring them back more. The drive from Louisville to Bardstown once a month to replenish is worth it!

My favorites: Pink Sugar everything! Daughter loves Butt Naked soap & scrub, Son (yes my 17 yr. old son is sold to) Rain and Stud soap...
