Tropes Romance Bookshop — Local services in Bardstown

Happened upon this store the week it opened and LOVED it! (It's tricky to find because it's on the backside of the Third St building, so look for the arched alleyway and then go left until you reach the store.) The co-owner we met was so friendly and willing to order any books customers asked for. We also talked about doing a signing in the future. They have LOTS of in-person author signings, so follow them on Facebook to see who will be there in the coming weeks/months/years! I'm looking forward to visiting again on a future trip...

I always love going into local bookstores on road trips. I was so happy to stumble upon this sweet little shop. Alyssa (I hope I’m spelling this correctly) was so warm and great at recommendations. 1000000% worth the visit AND a follow on their social media! Tropes has a large portion of popular titles and what they don’t have on their shelves, the amazingly kind and personable owners will order. This place is so much more than a bookstore, it’s a beautiful place to find new friends and interests from book clubs to author signings and flower pot painting to so much more. 10/10...
