I arrived here promptly at 8:32pm on 06/04/2020 to Pickup up an Uber Eats Customer Prepaid Order and the Drive-thru Line was very long (approximately 20 Vehicles) or so! I called the Business Phone through the Uber Eats Driver App, but they aggressively continued to answer then hang up the phone immediately without saying anything! Furthermore, I notified my Uber Eats Customer of the delay, and waited patiently in Line. Finally, I was able to reach the outside intercom around 9:14pm; however, a female black was extremely unprofessional yelling "we closed, all we have is some spicy chicken left!" I greeted them several times (hello my name is Issac with Uber Eats and I am picking up Customer Order: Name & Order#), but they refused to greet me back! The employee then paused for approximately 45 Seconds then yelled "we ain't got it!" I asked to speak to a Manager several times but was refused one by all employees inside the business! I managed to record the interaction upon reaching the Drive-thru Window depicting a female black employee continuing to be extremely unprofessional by harassing me saying that I cannot record the interaction! I asked her once again on Camera to speak to a manager, but she slammed the Drive-thru Sliding Window and walked off! I immediately called Uber Eats Support Team who also attempted to call the business by phone, but they all continued to walk around inside the business ignoring the loud ringing phone! I observed them pointing at me and laughing as I sat for another 11 Minutes at the Drive-thru Window while on the phone with Uber Eats Support Team! Finally, at 9:25 pm, the Uber Eats Support Representative apologized to me for this horrible experience and advised that the Popeyes Staff refused to answer the phone for her as well, albeit she called the business repeatedly (Uber made record of this situation)! In the end, the Prepaid Uber Eats Customer Order had to be canceled due to the Restaurant's Refusal to fulfill the Order, and this Customer was failed terribly! Also, I spent approximately 50 Minutes at this unprofessional establishment without being compensated for my time and efforts! This situation was completely avoidable by using basic communication such as answering the phone when we call, and certainly, these actions are unprofessional, unacceptable, and goes directly against Company's Policy regarding Customer Service! I respectfully request that Popeyes' Management investigate this matter and reprimand the responsible staff for their ridiculous behavior! It is unacceptable to have customers sitting in the drive thru for 30+ minutes in the August heat, and then never even bring food out. I placed a mobile order and after waiting for half an hour I called and also the store to cancel. They told me I had to do so through the app. And the app will not cancel the order, only give me a coupon for the amount. This is stealing money from your customers. Why on earth would I want a coupon back to a place that has consistently been terrible? I have low expectations for all Popeyes but this location takes the cake. Yall only do one thing, chicken!! Raising Canes or chicfila do the same and they couldnt make you wait 30 minutes if they TRIED. I wouldn’t be mad if there was some communication, but it should not be up to the customer to decide they have to leave after they’ve already paid.
Also take a scroll at all their responses to upset customers. They are obviously using chatgpt to try to put out fires rather than actually making any changes. The owners obviously don’t actually care. Also newsflash: anyone with a brain can detect AI when used, so maybe stop wasting the water. Read moreThis is absolutely the worst Popeyes I've ever visited. Every time I visit this location in person or place an Uber/doordash order, there is something wrong, EVERY TIME. I've come through the drive thru at lunchtime only to be told they will open at 1 pm. I ordered chicken and was told they only have tenders or vice versa. The previous Uber order i placed for a 3 piece chicken, 1 side and additional side, arrived with neither side. Just the chicken. When I inquired where my sides were, it was stated, "They don't have anymore." For this reason, and several others not mentioned, I hesitated on ordering from them again last night. I just KNEW something would be wrong. I even tried guessing at what it would it be this time.
Placed my order. It stated they were preparing it. My driver arrives to pick it up and sends me a message that they are closed. How are they closed during business hours? And more importantly, why were they taking Uber orders if their business was closed?
Time was wasted once again on at this business. This was the absolute last straw for me. I wish that Bartlett would do better about the types of businesses they bring to this city. Lots of citizens have complained about several different issues with this location. I won't ever patronize this location again. If you like Popeyes chicken, I'd suggest a different location and stay away...
