This is now my new favorite ride of EPCOT. It's just so much fun!

We arrived to the France Pavillion via the Skyliner for early entry. We were able to hop on a gondola as early as 7:30 am from the Disney's Riviera Resort. It dropped us off right at the International Gateway near Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Just about every resort guest was heading in the same direction. The rope drop for the park opening was at 8:15 am. It was all very organized & efficient, even though everyone was walking quickly in one big group to be the first ones on the ride. We really didn't have to wait too long in line. I'd say it was maybe 5 minutes, and that's because they hadn't started the ride. Once the ride started, we were in our little rat car heading into the kitchen.

I love the whole concept of this ride. Yes, you must wear the 3D glasses provided. All the animation is on various screens, and you're scurrying about with Remy and his friends avoiding all kinds of hazardous situations in a working restaurant. You are seeing everything that a rat sees. You're looking up at the characters and scenery the entire time while your vehicle takes you quickly through the ride. You feel everything Remy feels. There is a squirt of a substance, but nothing that will give you a bad hair day. I won't spoil it for you.

Just make this one a priority if you happen to have early entry. The ride opens at 8:30 am when most rides open at 9:00 am. You'll avoid the long lines all together by entering the park at the International Gateway. Also, be sure to grab that cup of coffee/tea at your resort, or stop at the Caribbean Beach Skyliner station to get some Joffrey's. You'll be in 3 different holding areas before they let you loose after that 8:15 am rope drop.
