Read moreDo not come here and expect a disney experience, you will not get it. We had a reservation to check this place out as we thought we would give them some time to get into a routine since opening. We were seated quickly but it did take awhile before our server stopped by the table, well after a few others had been sat and had orders placed. Okay, no big deal we’ll move on. I have a peanut/tree nut allergy (mild but still present) and marked it on our reservation like we always do, not one person acknowledged the allergy or even asked if there was one. I stayed away from the things I knew I couldn’t have of course but disney is SO good with allergies that the lack of care was bothersome but again I know what I can’t/can have and moved on. The value for the combo is good, the soup of the day was potato and leek and to be honest that is the only soup I’ve ever heard of served in that place and while it was good, it was barely warm even though the puffs of steam from the bowl would have said otherwise and the shape of the bowl and the huge spoon made it awkward to eat but the taste was actually enjoyable. I had the chicken galette and asked if I could sub out the mushrooms for onions from a different one and was told no that they would only remove not sub, okay weird since it’s all made fresh but okay moved on. The chicken was very bland, which I’m sure the mushrooms would have helped but not a fan, and the sauce was creamy but overall it seriously lacked flavor and everything was plopped in the middle so there was a lot of plain buckwheat. Cider was good, expensive for the size but it came with the meal and I enjoyed it. Had to give our server the whole order including dessert when we sat down, which made the timing really off, barely could finish one course before the next one was coming, so it felt like we were being rushed out of there despite being ignored in the beginning. I got the Apple crepe and it was just okay, felt like it was missing spice and the apples were on the bitter side, tasted the banana one and that one was much better. Server was okay, nothing remarkable but wasn’t rude and order was correct. The restaurant is very small and the tables are very close together so you will be sitting on top of your neighbors so it does get out if screaming kids or having to combat other loud conversations. My family enjoyed their meals more than I did. Overall pretty disappointed and likely won’t go back as there is too much other amazing food to waste time and money there. However it is a good deal and the combo can easily be split to two people for one of the cheapest eats, but...
Read moreFirst visit. Last visit. Res online for 2, for 2:40. Sat at exactly that time. Ordered 2 waters, 2 cappuccinos, soup of day (potatoes/leek cream based , was just ok), husband: ham, cheese, egg crepe and a dessert banana caramel one. - I ordered Melba which is berries and almonds on top. Took forever to arrive about 25 minutes but Then it was only his that came out. egg was over easy in middle and terribly runny. We sent back and they scrambled it. New one arrived about 5-6 minutes later. Our Server was a very nice kid but maybe they need more training: he didn’t ask how husband wanted egg…. Or were we sharing the savory one….Never refilled water glasses…. Husband totally finished his and I had never got mine. Server asked was all ok and I asked where was mine? It was supposed to be my entre but I guess server assumed it was for dessert and we were sharing ham one…. This isn’t “man food.” It’s not a share thing. More of a snack. Not near filling enough to share. Literally 30 minutes later the two other ones came out. They were good but not good enough for the long wait. Nothing special. There’s no atmosphere or decor.it reminded us of a burger king. Beige walls. No color. It’s supposed to be PARIS.Very boring inside. Little seating. Not for children in my opinion. Kitchen very slow and also does walk up window outside which was jam packed.we noticed the 2 mgrs went to help in kitchen which obviously was very behind. Servers were waiting at window for orders. When I commented on how this was a total let down he apologized and said unfortunately in kitchen they have to “ take what they can get”. At 4:20 we left. Way too long for such a poor experience. We’ve eaten at several nice places on property that took less time and were excellent. . BTW: there’s no AP discount! Not at the other big restaurant in France either so beware. We didn’t know. It’s not on the my Disney app when...
