Stopped by to take a look at the native American artifacts the historical society has on display. I was amazed. They have a pretty nice collection compared to other small local museums. They really have some nice examples of all the different projectile points used by natives here in the county since they first moved through the area, eventually settling down and giving up their nomadic ways. They also have an impressive collection of hardstone tools including axes, celts, hammerstones, adzes and other implements they used around their camps and villages.
