Amazing experience! Nick the manager and Josh the sales guy has made this the best car buying experience I've ever had (this is my 6th car)! This is the first time in my car buying experience where I didn't haggle, didn't feel the need to haggle and didn't feel like i was getting cheated or someone was trying to take advantage of me. I've been to 4 other dealerships in the Chicagoland area in the span of 2 weeks before I came to North Coast Mitsubishi and they were all negative. I live in Chicago, so I drove over 5 hours, as you can imagine I was nervous that they could take advantage knowing that. I found the Porsche I wanted here. I was skeptical about the price because it seemed really good. A couple of the other dealerships I've visited or called added $2-6k of fees on top of their initial price which they refused to remove, not North Coast Mitsubishi! Nick sent me the out the door price which only had the mandatory title and taxes and that's it. Before driving out I had a call with Nick to discuss everything and he was very nice, straightforward and transparent, so I felt better about making the 5 hour drive. I told him there were actually 2 cars I wanted to take a look at, an Audi SQ5 and Porsche Macan and asked if he could hold them both since I'll be driving from out of state and he said he'd be happy to hold them. I also asked if they had 2 keys for each cars, since many of the other dealerships don't disclose they only have one key and each key costs over $500 to make, Nick confirmed there were 2 keys. The evening before I was supposed to drive out, Nick called me and told me he had a customer looking to buy the Audi and asked if I would be willing to let the hold go and offered me $1,000 off the Porsche to do that. I agreed since I was leaning towards the Porsche anyway. He didn't have to do that! I have read so many reviews of dealerships where people drive to look at the car and it's sold before they got there. When I got to the dealership, Josh was waiting for me with the car pulled out front. I gave him my keys so they can look at my car for trade in value while I went for a test drive of the Porsche. When I got back, they did a full inspection on my car. I was worried that they will low-ball the offer on my car and I'll have to haggle with them and they wouldn't budge since I was out of state and wouldn't want to spend 5+ hours to drive back home without a new car. But no! They offered me upfront $2k more than the highest offer I've haggled for with other dealerships, $4k more than what other dealerships would come back with as the initial offer, what they claim is the Carmax price. Then when I asked for a quote for an extended warranty, Nick gave me a quote that was $1,000 LESS than what he quoted me over the phone a couple days before, and $3-5k LESS than what the Porsche dealerships quoted me (this warranty has a $100 deductible, whereas Porsche quoted with a $250 deductible). I also mentioned there were a few nicks on the car, they took it into their service and buffed them out on the spot. Then I figured, they'll probably try to get me on the interest rate, but no! They gave me a pretty good rate. The finance manager walked me through everything I was signing and was upfront and transparent. They were super nice, relaxed, and easy going. Very pleasant. I didn't feel like I'm getting taken advantage of the whole time. Unlike in other dealerships I've called and visited, where other dealers automatically add in fees for unnecessary protection you don't need without even asking you first if you wanted it and then when you try to negotiate, the manager comes in and they play this game where they go back and forth supposedly talking to someone who has to approve the price which takes a lot of time. They waste your time and theirs with this process. There was none of that at North Coast Mitsubishi.. When I walked in initially, I was surprised how many people were at the dealership, it's because they do such an amazing job and make the experience so pleasant that people want to do...
Read moreMy husband purchased two vehicles (with service contracts) from this dealership, about one week apart. As part of the deal for my 2022 Atlas, he negotiated a full tank of gas at the time of pick up of the vehicle(which would be approx 2 wks after signing) as well as a full detail inside and out as the car was filthy and had some overspray residue covering the exterior. We noted during our test drive that there were no valve stem caps on any of the tires-we were told this was because the tires were filled with nitrogen and they didn’t have any green caps to put on the vehicle. When we arrived to pick up the car, our salesman couldn’t be found and the car wasn’t ready. Salesman advised the car had not yet been detailed inside or out. He handed me a single key and said he had pulled the car out front. At this time was told there was only one key (never disclosed to either of us).We tried to discuss with mgmt, they argued that it was not their responsibility to provide spare key, and that we “should have known” there was only one key, from when we test drove it. I insisted on them assuming liability for the cost of a second key, but was denied. When we got the car, there was no gas in it, and there was a TPS warning light on. Salesman takes the car and returns 15 minutes later. Now there is only a 1/2 tank of gas. We went back inside again, and the Salesman took the car yet again to get the remaining 1/2 tank of gas. While waiting for him, I asked my husband where the paperwork was from when he had signed two weeks earlier. He stated they did not give him any paperwork after signing for either car. Back into the dealership he went. He was told by the finance dept that it was an oversight and they would send the documents for both vehicles soon. Our salesman assured us before we drove off that the manager was going to provide the additional key fob as requested. While driving home my husband noticed a small crack in the front windshield. A few days later we received emails containing the sales documents. Much to my surprise, I located documents buried in the stack, that my husband signed acknowledgement that both vehicles had been in accidents and sustained structural damage. There was no car fax or other vehicle history report. My husband was shocked and said nobody disclosed that to him, that they rushed him through the paperwork and just told him where to sign. Over the next few days, while filling the tank for the first time, my husband noticed that the rear two tires did not match the front-something that can cause a host of safety, performance and mechanical issues with an AWD vehicle. Also, the rear passenger tire had a nail in it and approx a 3 inch gash in the sidewall, and we noticed the brakes seem to be sticking. After speaking with a manager named Nick over the phone, he agreed to replace the missing key fob and put us in touch with their service dept. Zach in service offered that they would complete repairs of all of the issues and asked us to bring the car in on Monday 6/9. We did as he said. He stated once we were there that their glass specialist could fill the windshield, he offered to clay bar buff out the entire car, detail the interior as initially promised at signing, replace the rear two tires with Coopers to match the front, and would look at the brakes. We were set up with someone separately to handle the key fob. Zach scheduled us to drop the car off the following Weds 6/11 at 9am. He asked that we drop the car off for the day for work to be completed. The next day, Zach called and said manager wouldn’t agree to replace the rear tires, but said he would ask again. When we arrived on Weds, Zach advised he still couldn’t get approval for the tires, that a manager said it isn’t their responsibility. We asked to speak with that manager. A few minutes later, a manager called my husbands phone where I couldnt get a word in to explain the situation. He yelled, talked over me, and told me to get my car out of his service dept and...

Pick the car this in my budget because I like to keep my debt to income ratio low you know like how we spend on credit cards so you’ll get a score jump every other month. So they kept saying to me your credit score is great but they don’t want to take your self employment income🤔 after running my credit score to death lost 27 points because of it even telling DBrown hey run me one time and that’s it he said I’ll tell them next thing you know tons of notifications from everybody still I sat. Now I’m told I need a co-signer I’m like for what my income is way over enough. So my uncle comes in and give all his information run his credit up comes back still not enough. I also submitted benefits I get from other sources now this is well over 40k yearly still no go. Still being told it’s not your score it’s your income. I call a friend like hey I need your help she like I’m with it because now I know they playing in my face and just want me in another high priced car that I simply don’t want and a down payment🧐 so he credit score is good to how I know is because I taught her how to utilize it well and her income is more than enough even without mines hence the reason they trying to get her in but she doesn’t like notes and neither do I but my car been giving me hell. So she send me all her information I send it to the two of them I emailed her the credit application During which time DBrown calls to let me know someone us test driving the car so it might not be there I express please call me with an update because that’s the only one I wanted.
