This park is rather small and the lake itself is small, not really suitable for large parties or people. The lake I would actually call a pond and a small one at that my grandparents have a pond in Missouri on private land that’s larger than this. Has a few pretty tree and palm trees and such while I was there I did not see any wildlife pond is most likely man made. The dock is pretty standard looks like it was built with 2x4s. Nothing spectacular. I really enjoy floridas parks and this one is unfortunately slightly below average just isn’t as pretty or “Florida” as the other nearby parks, particularly the villages area as it is just beautiful. They have a playground near the lake so might be fun for kids is a bit of a walk though I never checked it out as it’s in the 90s the day I went. Parking is available all around the pond. 3/5 not terrible and definitely...

Lovely little watering hole. I like to walk in circles. here is a place I can walk in circles. nobody laughs at me for walking in circles here. I found it comforting that many other people, like myself, have a walking in circles habit. I walk around & around & around even around again without any feelings of shame for my activity. Circles are fun, *circles are safe.i think if everybody on earth walked in the same pattern in same direction at same time, we would speed up or slow down the Earth's spin. Also I believe we could time warp either direction. Wouldn't that be the coolest ever? A FLASH MOB CIRCLE TIME TRAVEL... AHHhhhh yeah Somebody tune up the Lotus, it's time to go visit with ... Michael J Fox for his opinions on circles & does he prefer or doesn't he prefer a helmet?

*HELMETS...

Lake Lillian Park reminds me of the lake in my hometown where I grew up in Pennsylvania. My friends and I spent many happy hours there picnicking, fishing, ice skating and just hanging out with friends. I was so happy when I moved here in Belleview and found we had a lake where my children could grow up enjoying the same experience. Of course our Lake Lillian has grown and now includes walking paths, splash park, play area and various community events etc. The only thing we're missing is ice skating in the winter - but I can happily trade that for our warmer weather...

Great place to visit, to take time to enjoy the outdoors, and to eat lunch. We enjoy coming to this park once a week just to take in some fresh air and to relax. The park offers a one mile trail to walk on along with park benches and picnic tables and pavilions for small parties. There is a dock to stand on or fish from. There is a number of birds that come and visit. The park also gets decorated during the Christmas holiday season. It has a giant playground with a fence going around it to keep small children in. It is located next to the water park for days that are hot and the kids want to go swimming.

We were there for Belleview Founders day event. The park itself was very nice and tranquil. The event was okay. Attendance wasn't so good. The highlight was Chef Daddy's Gourmet tacos and sliders food truck. Fantastic and scrumptious brisket and pulled pork sliders, my wife loved their fish tacos. They had vegan tacos, and salads. All home made sauces, hand cut curly fries, and sweet potatoe chips. They even had dipping sauces for the fries and chips. Not your usual food truck food.

Great time at downtown Belleview's Lake Lillian. They have updated the kids play area which is now directly next to the splash pad. There are still 2 walking tracks available. I think the town could invest a little more into the area of Lake Lillian as it is such a popular destination for families. It is sad to see the level of the water over the years. It has declined so much. It makes me wonder when it will no longer be there. Enjoy it while you can folks!
