I recently purchased an iPhone 14 plus from Verizon on 2/24. That itself was a long process as I was switching over from T-Mobile. On 3/8 the phone went dead after being left on the charger at night. The phone would not turn on for the whole day. I called Verizon because I was within the 14 day warranty. They had my trouble shoot and the phone would not turn on. I was told to go to the store where I purchased and they should replace the phone. I went to the store and they troubleshooted the phone, then told me they couldn’t replace the phone because although there is no physical damage, they cannot resell the phone. They told me to go to geek squad or Apple care. Apple care is an hour drive away from my home so I went to Best Buy geek squad and they ran a diagnostic. They said the battery was dead and for me to go back to Verizon because I just paid for a new phone and they are to replace my phone with a new one. I went back to Verizon in Ocala and they were able to get the phone to turn back on. A few days after that, I called Verizon again to replace the phone because I was within the 14 day warranty. I did not want this to happen again because I work from home and highly dependent on my phone to access my work email due to a code being sent every time I sign in. I missed out on work that day just because of my phone not turning on. They told me they could not order the phone over the phone because the Verizon store I bought the phone from is an indirect Verizon store so they need to order the phone. I went back they and they kept giving me the run around. They kept the agent in the store on hold for over an hour. Then hung up on her called me and told me to cancel my account with them and get a new account with them to get a replacement. Never in my life have I heard anything so absurd and I don’t like to leave reviews like this but it must be put out there that this can happen to another customer. Although the agents did try to help me, they still left me without a solution other than to go to Apple care to receive a refurbished phone after I just paid for a brand new...
Read moreWe went to the Belleview office on a Sunday and FAYSAL was there. We were changing from one provider to Verizon and our phones were locked. Mind you we paid for the phones outright through another company yet we were tied to a 6mnth commitment. We were unaware of this, so needless to say we were at the store for over three hours. FAYSAL was very patient and completed the process of auto pay, the plans and insurance we would need once we were able to get the phones unlocked and completely become Verizon customers. He gave us plenty of options, he helped us get our children new phones that will be advantageous for our children without being pushy. He had one of the phones for my children in the store and reached out to another store to get the other two for pick up by Tuesday. He went above and beyond what he had to so we we were satisfied. He pointed us in the right direction to resolve our issue. He ported our numbers, but since our phones were locked he gave us loaner phones while we waited for our phones to be unlocked. I returned to the store Tuesday to get my children their phone and at that time he completed the process of porting my children's phone numbers. I returned his loaner phones as our phones had been successfully ported over. I have never experienced such a person who did so much, did not seem aggravated (I am sure he was but never showed it) and stayed 2hrs after closing. He did not lock the door or refuse the three customers who came in after hours while we were getting situated. KUDOS to this gentleman for the patients he has. When I went to pick the other phones up he advised it would be quick, it was. It took him less then 30 min to port three phone numbers. Thank You Verizon for the best service available and Thank You FAYSAL for the time, service and patients you offered to get us the best service possible. I wish all retail /customer service people were so polite...
Read moreCame in on a Saturday to purchase 4 phones and a new service...Brandon was awesome, very kind and overly informative. Called him Monday to make him aware that our receipt showed he had assigned the phones incorrectly, when he finally answered, he behaved like a child, complaining that he was "too busy" to deal with it. I tried to be understanding as he did have other customers he was dealing with. Came in Wednesday to pick up my phones,(when he told us to come) and was greeted with nothing but childish attitude. Again, we attempted to be patient. We were told we shouldn't have come because it was 5:30(no schedule was set by him for when we should arrive and they are open until 7), we would have been fine with rescheduling, but instead he decided the best approach was to throw a fit in the store about how he just has better things to be doing and he should have already left. (I did not ask him to stay late, he's an adult, he picked his place of employment.) Then he preceded to make another customer who came in with just a question feel bad for stopping in, and guilted her into not even asking, but insisted she leave and try again some other time. I approached him to say that he was being unprofessional and the energy needed to change for me to feel ok with continuing in our transaction, and that we would reschedule if it suited him better, to which he threw another tantrum, stomping off and deciding our business wasn't worth his time. I don't have a problem with Verizon, but this guy definitely has a tendency to carry himself professionally, until it doesn't suit him. I will not be doing business with this location again while he is...
