We went this morning to have Breakfast, when we walked in everyone was nice quick and friendly, they do not have assigned table's so orderin is weird, had a nice older lady get our drinks asked if we were ready to order we side not yet, another younger girl come over to ask of we were ready we said notnyet then a third lady came middle aged we ordered, what a mistake from her, no smile not nice my husband ordered 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and 2 bacon good deal 6.99. My son got a special countey fried steak eggs, hashbrowns and toast 8.49 really good price, I ordered a special hillbilly burger 8.29 (not worth it very thin on bread soggy bread one piece of bacon cut in half little mushrooms) I asked is there a side that comes with it she said yes fries (you heard that right, right with fries will explain later) so I asked for the burgers ranch to be on the side and fries well done crispy crispy. Orders come out as they get done so first my husbands then my sons then mine. Mine was all wrong fries not well done, ranch on burger. It took over 10 minutes to get someone to come and fix it. As this is going on a notice a price I am not sure what it is. At this point no still has came to refill coke or coffee, no one has asked if everything is ok or if we needed anything. My food finally comes back out done right but not worth it very thin on bread soggy bread one piece of bacon cut in half little mushrooms and little cheese especially since I thought fries came with the price. STILL NO ONE HAS ASKED OR CHECKED ON US. We go up to pay and I ask whats this charge she says thats for the fries I said you said they came with it she totally ignored me charged my card and said do you want to leave a tip on the card, I said no we left cash on table. She hand me a receipt and that was it. She did not allow me to sign my copy or write a 0 on it for the tip. She better not put one on there without my permission. I aleays leave a tip in cash so they get it right away instead of...
Read moreThis review is not to dissuade anyone from frequenting Farmhouse restaurant. It has nothing to do with the food. It has to do with the lack of attention and not feeling welcome. This was the the 2nd time visiting Farmhouse for breakfast. The first time was with my wife. We are new to the Belleview area, and like any newcomer you want to know among many things where the best eating places are. Farmhouse was one place always mentioned. Well, I did something this morn I haven’t done in years—after approx 10 minutes of not being greeted (no good morning, want coffee, etc), I walked out, and probably never to return—they are not the only rodeo in town. As I walked in, several paying customers were paying. I was instructed by assumedly the owner to find a seat. I went to a 2-seat table. Their were very few customers inside at that moment (approx 840). A server showed up late (apparently), and first began cleaning tables. I was the only customer not waited on at that time. Server passed by me 3 times, never greeting me. Then after the “owner” was free of no paying customers walked by me, not saying a word. That’s when I walked out. I got the impression the restaurant is a “good old boy”, local clientele place. I’m a retired military retiree and a business man post-military career. Meeting and greeting, gripping and grinning, are important elements to any customer-based business. I didn’t experience that this morning. And that’s sad. I hope the owner and lone server take this verbose review to heart and realize kindness and friendliness are just as important to a newcomer as it is to the steady customer....
Read moreWhen we walked in not one single person acknowledged us. The entire staff appeared to be very angry and made sure you felt a hostile get out and do not come back vibe. I am not exaggerating in anyway. Not one person ever smiled. They finally said how many and sent us to a table. After a few minutes a waitress came to the table and said do you know what you want . No how are you or good morning. Just seething anger at your for bothering them to do their job. They slap the ticket on the table and walk away. You do not get asked if you want something else. You look around and you would swear the employees were going to all walk out they were so pissed off about something. They never come back to see if you want anything else or another drink. It was awful. On the other hand the food was very delicious. The prices were very affordable. I would never go back unless the management does not allow the employees to have such rotten attitudes, make sure you are greeted and people smile. Even when we went to the register to pay still no acknowledgement. Hand them the money. Give your change and that is it. Since the food is so good I am sad I will never go back again. The manager needs to step up and fix this or hire a staff that is pleasant and are friendly. We were nice and did not complain. We didn't say anything to the waitress about her attitude - she looked like she was ready to fist fight someone so we kept our...
