THE PARK: Nice part of the King County trail system. If you are wanting a nice place to take a walk, then it's very nice.
FISHING: But if you are going to this lake to fish for crappie/bass/trout/etc, in my opinion, go elsewhere. The bottom is a peat bog, not a gravel lake. It is overrun with Lilly pads and aquatic plants. The plants have tons of tackle and line wrapped up around them making it impossible to skip a weedless bait across them. I spent hours there tossing many kinds of lures and live bait from multiple locations without as much as a nibble. In face I did not even see any kind of birds or small aquatic...
