Great food, great place with great atmosphere, quick customer service, affordable prices! My family and I were looking for the best gyro places where we could find tasty and juicy food with a great variety of choices and affordable prices. However, all the places we discovered either the food was dry, too pricey, or had poor variety of choice to satisfy all members of family. We accidentally bumped into Greek Express, luckily for us. We finally found the place that met all our criteria. Food & Menu: The menu is quite rich and has a great variety of choices that will satisfy people with different tastes and preferences. Food is always fresh, greatly made, and TASTY! My family and I love everything we order there, especially: Amazing dolmades (grape leaves stuffed with meat or rice) that got into menu recently; Juicy gyro wraps; Best fries we’ve ever had (with a choice of herbs or garlic sauce on top of them); Salad with amazing salad dressing; The best hummus I’ve experienced in my life (before, I was not excited about hummus that much); Always fresh and tasty pita bread; My little one favors their grilled cheese pita and fries and asks me to take him there often.
Atmosphere: Great atmosphere, especially after recent remodeling towards a more high-end look. Cozy, pleasant, and inviting to hang out.
Customer service: Always clean upholstery. Great and fast customer service even during rush hours.
Take out: My family and I love their food so much that we order a takeout very often. Great to order for potlucks and parties. They make it quite presentable, nicely designed so I get compliments from friends and acquaintances wherever I take it.
Location: Great location, easy to find and close to other businesses, surrounded with huge parking lot.
I recommend this place to everyone who loves great food, great portions, affordable prices, quick customer service and...
Read moreThis place is so good and I'm so happy I found it! It's worth the additional 7 minute drive deeper into Bellevue. Seattle folks can only have so much "mamnoon togo" before we grow tired of it. 😂 The owner, if he's there, is really nice and accommodating. Some of the dinner plates are pre-designed with various sides but you can swap out for something else to your liking which is nice. For example, if you don't want hummus included you can get additional rice or substitute for baba ganoush instead, if that's your preference. I drove from Seattle to pick up a five dinner plate order. Every single dinner plate was raved about even after getting cold with a reheat. Plates ordered: combo, lamb, chicken souvlaki, prawn salad, and veggie combo. Their spanakopita is on point and the chicken souvlaki is cooked perfectly. I find that particular chicken dish a bit tastier than Garlic Crush (also in Bellevue). It's just Garlic Crush is on Bellevue Way right off the highway so coming right back is easier but like I said this place is worth the extra mileage. I'm so happy to have picked out a couple desserts from the display case to the left of the register when I was there for pickup. I chose 3 desserts that we all shared and all were blow your mind delicious. Honey Walnut Cake, Rice Pudding and Tiramisu were all well made for a "to-go/fastfood Greek" place like this! I didn't try their baklava so I can't compare it to mamnoon's deliciousness. A couple other times I visited where the owner wasn't there, it wasn't the best customer service or portions, I'll be honest and both times I was over charged. They nitpicked extra pita, extra sauce and kept adding charges to every "extra" but I didn't say anything about it. I don't believe or recall Garlic Crush charging extra for a tiny tzatziki sauce. Bring cash if you want to save a teeny bit of...
Read more2 stars because overall maybe 3. It's general, not great or not bad. Not always the friendliest staff (older man mainly), but sometimes others very friendly. 2 stars also because I clearly went at the wrong time. At least that's what I'm telling myself. Around 2:15, after the lunch crowd before dinner I suppose. I usually have at least a 5 min wait which is fine. I barely turned around after paying before someone brought my food out to me. That was fast. I noticed it was not hot but told myself I'll warm up when I get back to the office. Didn't do it. Must have served me all the OLD leftovers meat from whenever the lunch rush ended (long ago). Thought I never had such a yucky gyro. But when I returned to the office and after a few bites, picking through to see if there was something good deep inside I decided to throw it away. Coworker asked and I explained how bad it was. She reminded me of another time when I had the same experience there. I read one review who mentioned tastes like chef boyardee. Cant exactly recall that taste from forever ago but I think they're right. Didn't taste right or good. Think I'll swing by the Factoria one going forward if I'm in the mood for a gyro while...
