Tiki's Tropical Fish — Attraction in Bellflower

This shop is hands down one of the best pet stores I have ever been to. Amazing selection of healthy animals, nearly everything you need to care for them, and to top it off, fantastic prices. Some of the husbandry techniques they use for the reptiles/invertebrates are a little outdated, but I have yet to see an unhealthy animal in the shop because of it. The owners make great recommendations to customers, giving accurate advice on how to care for their fish and other pets, as well as what sort of habitats, temperaments, and requirements are needed for the animals being sold. They also have a wide array of pet supplies, many of which are less than half the price you'd find at a Petco or PetSmart. Their live food is always fresh and healthy too, my leopard gecko and frogs have definitely benefitted from eating bugs purchased here. This store has been around for years, and for good reason too. Needless to say, Tiki's Tropical Fish has earned a lifelong customer. I hope other people will give this small local store the chance it deserves and come here instead of going to another big...

This is 100% and with all honesty the best store ever for any fish needs and they also have some types of reptiles, scorpions and tarantulas. I’ve given them fish that I wasn’t able to care for anymore and some that just outgrew my tank and they are more then happy to help wether it’s with that or with any questions that I have. I’ve been in this hobby for about 2 years now and I always want to go into fish stores (as we all do) and a lot of the owner or workers are very helpful but with Tiki’s they just go above and beyond and they’re soooo knowledgeable on both fresh and salt water. I used to come here pretty often for a couple years now. The young man who served me is really chill and friendly, so its quite difficult writing this review. He gets a 5 star for his service... I never had a problem with the fish until my recent purchase. I should have checked out the fish first in the bag before i purchased them. When i got home one corydora was already dead and i noticed that 2 other ones had a red blotch. Those other ones didn't make it either. Made sense, cus the man pulled out a dead one from their tank. That was a red flag. Should have analyzed the fish. I blame myself. Sad that they have bad quality water for those corydoras to develop red blotch. Fortunately, one is still healthy and alive. As for now, i am going to search for another...
