LONG ONE. Scheduled an appointment for a manicure and pedicure day before Mother’s Day as a treat to myself. Came in early and did not have to wait at all. The inside is nice. Very small selection of colors. The pedicure chairs do look a lot nicer than they feel. It was VERY busy which is to be expected the day before Mother’s Day, that being said, they paid no attention to me. Everything felt very rushed and like I was charged for something I didn’t get? Pedicure consisted of cuticle trim and dremel filing, a sugar scrub and the nail polish. Only one coat. Application is OK. No lotion. Moved over for the gel manicure, I got a cuticle trim ( pulled a dirty trimmer from her pocket and sprayed it with disinfectant??) and they filed and shaped them well. The lady then left to go attend to other customers (seemed like they were regulars) someone else came by after about ten minutes and did my primer and base coat, she came back to change the light I was using and left again. Finally came back and did the gel color. Again application isn’t spectacular. Puts my nails to dry, leaves again. Randomly without saying anything comes up and starts massaging my neck. After the color was dry someone else came over to do my cuticle oil and lotion. Won’t be back again. Not...
Read moreI took my best friend and I to get a mani pedi and had the worst experience. It was my 30th birthday and we wanted to get the full treatment. So I set us an appointment early afternoon on a week day. I arrive 15 minutes for our appointments to be told I need to wait another hour, Reluctantly I waited thinking this was unusual. We then started an hour n half after our original appointment. The massage chair was horrible, uncomfortable and just vibrated. Then the pedicure starts and the lady is being quite aggressive and cuts the side of my toe. I mention something and she starts to be extremely rude to me and rushes the pedicure and refuses to buff the nails.
We then had to wait another 30 minutes until a new technician would do our manicure. My friends silver nail polish was chunky and uneven and mine looked just as bad.
I would never go Here again even if it was free. I wanted to feel relaxed and taking care of or that my time matters. Even after 2 hours of waiting we nicely paid and left.
The service here is horrible. The staff is very rude. The damage done to the nails can still be seen 2 months after the treatment. Jimmy should be very disspoinment what happens when he...
Read moreVery, very disappointed. I went to Jimmy's for the first time six weeks ago, and had a pleasant experience and good nail care (although definitely on the high end: $50 for a mani-pedi). Talked my husband into getting his first pedicure, and took him to Jimmy's. From the time we walked in we were treated as if they were doing us a favor. The "mini-massages" were given while chatting to other people, leaving my husband with a sore wrist and me with a sore shoulder from too hard pushing and not paying enough attention. The MOST irritating thing was that the manicure was done while we were in the pedicure chair, rather than us moving to the manicure station. (The shop was not busy at the time.) Twisting in the chair and holding my hand out in the air while nail polish is applied in a quick, slapdash manner is not my idea of a relaxing experience.
Normally, I would have said something at the time, but because it was my husband's first experience, and I wanted him to enjoy himself, I said nothing. But I certainly will find somewhere else to get nail care...
