Lairmont Manor — Attraction in Bellingham

I grew up in Bellingham, WA and moved away when I was 18 years old, back in 2001. Lairmont was always a popular place for events - I remember having piano recitals there when I was 10 years old and choir concerts there in high school. I never knew that in 2025 I would be getting married there!

When I got engaged, I asked my fiance if he would consider us getting married in Bellingham (we live in Los Angeles now). He said he was already hoping for that. I showed him Lairmont Manor when we were up visiting and he fell in love. We knew it had to be there. We LOVE vintage, deco, and design so it was going to fit our vibe perfectly.

We primarily worked with Hope at Lairmont. She was amazing. So kind, helpful and reassuring. Hope was even so kind to set up a personal appointment tour a week before my wedding for my father who is handicapped and was full of anxiety. He wanted to ensure he knew how many steps there were and where all the bathrooms where before the day of. Hope was so kind and patience with him and my mom. It really meant the world to me that they/Hope went the extra mile.

Laimont also provided as a recommended vendors list since we didn't know many vendors up there (with us living in LA). We used vendors from the list and everything went seamlessly. They all knew what to do and where to do it.

The staff, especially DJ, was so friendly and kind throughout the entire process. DJ answered all of our questions, gave great ideas, and would let us wander the property whenever we wanted. She was so kind and excited for our day, which made it even all that more fun. The space is absolutely gorgeous, and has everything you need for a timeless wedding. As a professional wedding planner and the groom this time, I can firmly say that my experience working with the team at Lairmont Manor was second-to-none! The space is perfection, the gardener takes impeccable care of the grounds, and the staff is just so sweet and accommodating.
