Nestled in a cozy corner, Blue Café is a vibrant haven that perfectly balances warmth and creativity. The ambiance is a delightful blend of comfort and quirkiness, with soft pastel walls adorned with eclectic artwork that invites the eye to wander. The café exudes a relaxed yet lively atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both solitary work sessions and friendly gatherings.

As you step inside, you’re greeted by the gentle hum of conversation, the clatter of coffee cups, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The space is thoughtfully arranged, with wooden tables and chairs that exude a rustic charm, creating a welcoming environment for everyone from the casual passerby to the dedicated regular.

The menu at Blue Café reflects its vibrant spirit, offering a selection of carefully crafted beverages and light bites. Whether you’re in the mood for a robust cup of coffee or a refreshing juice, the offerings are as diverse as the clientele. The café’s attention to detail extends to its service, where staff members provide friendly and attentive care, ensuring that each visit feels like a warm embrace.

In essence, Blue Café is more than just a place to grab a drink; it’s a community hub where creativity, comfort, and connection...

Best coffee shop in town (been to two) 😃 But seriously, the staff was super friendly! I had the iced mocha latte (make sure to ask for the special mocha) It was delicious 😋 My partner Bob (aka Skeezix) had the hot mocha latte and biscotti he appeared to be very satisfied.

The backstory... Skeezix had his face mask on as we walked in. As I threw out my Perrier bottle I noticed the Trump sticker on the trash can. I quickly told Skeezix to take his mask off. He looked confused for a second and then understood they may not be Trump supporters. We had great conversation about our travels and how we ended up in their coffee shop so far away from Home. We certainly won’t hold their political views against them. As they were so gracious and friendly (good thing our political preference was quickly concealed). Not that we would have been treated any differently.. lol Unless they saw the face mask before it was quickly removed then there tolerance towards us was much appreciated 😁 Overall a great experience! We look forward to going back. Potentially engaging in a lively political...

I've been to almost every cafe in Bellingham and this is one of the best! I enjoy an iced golden milk with oat milk, and my egg toast with arugula instead of parmesan. They always ask me if I want avocado, which goes amazing on the toast! The puffed amaranth with honey yogurt costs very little and is a perfect addition! I bought some of the puffed granola from the shop and tried to make the yogurt at home, but honestly, the yogurt just doesn't hit the same unless I get it here! The service is very kind and I've never had a bad experience. It does get very busy sometimes, although there's plenty of outdoor seating. They go above and beyond with presentation here as you can see with the pictures attached. I've also tried their larger yogurt and I enjoy bringing some berries from the farmer's market to add to it I'll continue going to this cafe after my walks for a long time to come

Edit and update: It's been two years. This place is even more popular!! Rightfully so! Best coffee in town and they still put in so much love and effort into everything they make!...

One of my Bham go-to spots. It’s super cute and cozy, and the staff are lovely, especially Micah the owner. Colorful and fun decor, eclectic interior, and branding to match. Locally roasted coffee, pastries made in-house, adorable ceramics for your “to have here” food and bev. The coffee is more on the acidic side if that’s your jam. If Bellingham would allow small retail zoning in residential areas then this would be your local neighborhood spot, and Micah does a great job at making you feel welcomed. Almost always super busy and indoor seating is definitely coveted (though there’s covered outdoor spots). It’s a great place to sit and work but because it’s so tiny, be mindful of how much time you’re spending on your laptop - support small businesses by allowing them to have seating turnover! Got multiple punchcards worth of free coffee to save for a special rainy day, thanks Cafe Blue for offering up all the good vibes.
